I don't think Wiki is too accurate with those numbers, or the information has never been really released. I'm sure Halo 3 sold a lot more than 8.1 million but the source isn't there anywhere. But this is a different issue at hand, anyways.

 Has Darkest of days become reality and it's messing up time, that'd make sense, the game's not a game, it's a documentary.
