Neither one? There are three games, so either 2 do not interest you or....
I am not gonna overthink this, but we have different views on games, and that is clearly... clear.
I'm living on student money and have had financial trouble so I won't be able to afford any games this month. However, I wish I could get Bayonetta and I'm really hyped for Mass Effect 2.
I don't know if I'm going to buy any this month, new releases anyway. I may buy some older games like The Saboteur. But most of the games I want come out later in the year.

I am not at all a sucker for that, but the regular boxart is just horrible, and not worthy a game of ME2:s caliber. While it's what's inside the box that matters, the special edition of ME2 is just 1000 times better.

I played through Mass Effect on Xbox 360, and all my four end-game saves are there, so Iäll get that version of 2.
Yesterday I bought the Steam version of Mass Effect 1 though, it was ~4€ so I couldn't refuse! It's my favourite game ever, so I might as well get it for that price.
Prolly nothing until maybe the end of January, I just picked up Dragon Age this morning and that will take up some time I'll probably rent either Bayonetta, Dante's Inferno, Dark Void or something, maybe wait for reviews and (if they are favorable) pick up MAG Huge month dude
Realistically I will probably not buy a single new game this month. I am heading back to college at the end of the month which is going to start eating up a lot of my time doubled with the fact I just plain out have no cash currently and probably won't for a while. However, if I was going to get some games I think Linkyshinks list is pretty much exactly what I would buy with the exception of Dark Void (I can honestly say I do not know a single thing about the game, could be cool for all I know) and maybe possibly not Tatsunoko vs Capcom, just depends.

Course all this is just assuming we are talking about games to come out late last year and Jan of this year... Cause there are a ton of olderish games I want more than these (Dead Space I am looking at you).
Divinity 2 blows my mind. I played the demo on XBL and there are so many things wrong with the game but at the same time I could for some reason not stop playing the demo and I can't figure out why. I can't even use the "cause its pure fun" card either because I hated most of the gameplay mechanics for various reasons... yet I kept trekking through the demo. Pretty sure I am broken.

There's nothing wrong with liking it. It's what you like that matters. The game will probably get terrible reviews but I know I'll be getting it. Reviewers are the drama queens of the gaming world.
Bayonetta, Darksiders, Dark Void, Mass Effect 2. Add to that possibly Tatsunoko and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories if it comes out this month here (probably won't).
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (probably my most anticipated game of all time and the reason I bought a PSP)
Shadow of Destiny (PSP) (I already own this game for PC but wouldn't mind owning another copy for a portable system as I never got all the endings -- this game has insane replay value)

Thing is though I didn't like any of what I played in the demo... I just couldn't stop playing it.
I know where you are coming from, however, a lot of my favorite games over the past couple of years have been ultra unpopular around reviewers. Never bothers me though.
Probably nothing for January. Want to get Mass Effect 2 and Dark Void, but I have so many games I purchased from Steam these last few days it's going to take me a while to get through them.
I preordered Mass Effect 2 collectors edition at bestbuy today. Excited to get my bonus armor. Kinda want to get bayonetta but I'm at that point where I have to many games and little time to play them.
I am really excited about Mass Effect 2, but won't be able to get it at launch because I'm poor and can't buy things at full price. I'm still catching up to 2009. I just completed Crysis Warhead and Batman because of a Steam deal. Hopefully I'll be able to get Borderlands this month so as to not be completely out of the loop.
