October - Alpha Protocol, Uncharted 2, Demon's Soul, Tekken 6
November - MW2
What games are you looking forward to purchasing this year?
The Beatles Rock Band - I was so impressed by this at E3 this year that once Gamestop had a sale with RB2 for $95 new, I jumped on the offer. Now I can have the game with the band set for much cheaper. The Beatles Rock Band full bundle is $250, so I'm saving a whole lot of money thanks to that opportunity.
Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition - Even though I've declared Fallout 3 to be my pick for 2nd best game of 2008, I never bought it. I rented it, not expecting too much out of it since Oblivion really let me down. Fallout 3 fully delivered and was so much better than I could have ever imagined. Considering that I can now get Fallout 3 and the 5 DLC quests for only $60, I think it's best that I've waited to purchase it. I'm very excited about getting the chance to play it again, though I did run into some game-ruining glitches towards the end of my rental period, so unfortunately I may have to start over from scratch. Whatever, though. I guess I don't mind too much.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - I wasn't fully set on buying it until the E3 demo. Now I can't wait. I love COD4, and that's just from the single player alone, which I think is absolutely superb. Modern Warfare 2 doesn't look like it'll disappoint me one bit. Sign me up. Also, night vision goggles are cool, but I think I'll pass on that bundle.
Resident Evil 5 - I totally loved this game. Don't understand what all the hate was about. I think RE4 is one of the best games of last gen, but RE5 is certainly no slouch in any way. I found Sheva to be a very competent AI companion, though I was smart enough to hold most of the ammo myself. Also dude, she's pretty hot. Just sayin'...
Well, those are the only ones I can say with any certainty right now. I actually think I'll get all 3 of those games for my birthday in November. I still gotta start thinking about Christmas. AYE CARUMBA!
Modern Warfare 2- My statistics on the first game had a final overall multiplayer time of around 14 days (there was a week long period during which I had the flu and this was all I did to pass by the time). I've had my Gold Account cancelled for some time but this will definitely get me back into the thick of screaming 14 year olds and racists.
Assassin's Creed II - This is one of my all time favorite games of all time, with all of its flaws and repetitive missions before each actual assassination. It was while running down a street chasing after my obese target that I realized this fact and that if a sequel did eventually come from this game, I was already sold.
MW2 and Halo ODST. You know rare games no one else has heard of before. New Super Mario Bros., Borderlands, Shadow Complex, Uncharted 2. Probably others I just can't remember off the top of my head.
My "Most def" purchases: Brutal Legend, CoD:MW2, AssAssAssins Creed II and Perfect Dark (XBLA edish)
Strong Contenders: Dragon Age, Alpha Protocol, Borderlands (all 3 are for October? crap, dude) und Halo:ODUST
Maybees: Batmin, Beatles: Rock Band, Uncharted (That's more of a question about getting a PS3 that the game)
Oddly, the game I'm most excited for is Perfect Dark on XBLA. I sunk a lot of time into it back in the day, and to be able to play it again -with hopefully less catastrophic framerate issues- is an offer I can't refuse.
Must get : Tekken 6, King Of Fighters XII, Marvel VS Capcom 2, Brutal Legend, Assassin`s Creed 2, Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2 and Gran Turismo 5 if it comes out this year.
Maybe later : Batman, Dragon Age, the new Dragon Ball Z game
Shadow Complex and Alpha Protocol.
And games from last year that I haven't bought or earlier this year.
Uhhh there's not alot to choose from.
I guess maybe Dragon Age and Alpha Protocol.
Left 4 Dead 2 possibly.
I've been on a fighting game induced buying rage. I'm definitely going home with Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 and Tekken 6. No King of Fighters for me though, never been a fan. Throw in a little MW2 and call it a day, err...year. Though the game I'm most looking forward to purchasing overall is Bayonetta, but that gem has been pushed back till 2010. Keeping an eye out for Borderlands too, but its not a definite purchase yet.
Mass Effect 2 and Borderlands.
If I buy a PS3 then I will probably buy Killzone II, Uncharted and Infamous.
Halo ODST -22nd September
Fifa 10 -2nd October
Forza 3 - 23rd October
Uncharted 2- 23rd October
NHL 10 - 30th October
MW 2 - 11th Neovember
L4D 2 - 20th November
Singstar : Take That (ok, it's not for me, it's for the wife and kids ) (20th November)
Gran Turismo (27th November- possible date)
assassin's creed 2
brutal legend
ratchet and clank future: a crack in time
uncharted 2
left 4 dead 2
legend of zelda spirit tracks
More than I can afford. For 2009 the list includes....
Uncharterd 2
Modern Warfare 2
Champions Online
Borderlands
Scribblenauts
Other potentials are Dragon Age: Origins, Halo ODST, Assassins Creed 2, Alpha Protoco/, and Batman Arkham Asylum
Everything else comes in 2010, I believe.
Borderlands
Blazblue
Persona 3
Marvel vs Capcom 2
Oh, and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey if it somehow ends up over here this year. But that's as likely as us getting Diablo 3 before 2012. High hopes... high hopes...

emoticons? how did you get those?
Halo 3 ODST, starcraft 2 hopfully this year, and anything I might find interesting enough to buy.
Despite all the delays, there are still quite a few. Uncharted 2, Alpha Protocol, Dragon Age: Origins, The Beatles: Rock Band, Dead Rising 2 (provided that actually comes out this year), Assassin's Creed II, Modern Warfare 2, DJ Hero (provided it reviews well), Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, Heavy Rain and, most of all, BRUTAL LEGEND!!
