Hey all
I have recently decided to not buy a new full retail game until I finish alot more of the games I already own. Having completed Battlefield Bad Company I am now hoping to work on Mirrors Edge (on to Chapter 5, man this game is hard), Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts (got just over 20 Jiggies collected), and try and get into Eldar Scrolls Oblivion (I have had it over 2 years and done very very very little on it). There will be more to do after those but those are the ones I am interested in at the moment.
How about you? Got a huge pile to work through or have you just got one achievement in a game to go?
Discuss it here!
What games do you have to complete?
Oh geez! xD
Right now, I'm working on Prince of Persia - which is great, by the way. After that, I have some srs games stockpiled. I have to get around to playing Dead Space, then The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena(remember this also includes The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay), then The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and then Fallout 3. And I have to find SOME TIME to fit Prototype into this mess, when it comes out! Aw, gee wiz...
There's different levels of 'finish' - I certainly haven't completed all the trophies or achievements for any game I have owned. Once I complete what I consider the main component of a game I am pretty unlikely to carry on.
My 'list to finish' - Fallout 3 (getting close), Deadspace, Zack & Wiki, Persona 4 (aargh), Shadow Of The Collossus, Dragon Quest V, Hotel Dusk.
Indigo Prophecy is a big one. It's not bad per se, but I absolutely do not understand the praise that it received. Maybe I had to have been there at the time it was released but I wasn't too much into comp games at the time and wasn't aware it was out for the Xbox. So far, I'm a little annoyed with the length of some of the swing your mouse around activities and the outlandish african american character was a bit offensive in the beginning but I've warmed up to him and his "pimp pad."
I bought the Odyssey games that were recently released as a pack on Steam but have yet to really get to them. Makes me feel like a kid at home on a Saturday afternoon in front of my comp though. Now if only Age of Mythology were released on Steam I'd be a happy man.
I've got FFVII: Crisis Core, Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria, Xenosaga: Der Wille Zur Macht, Siren, and Assassins Creed still awaiting completion.
Oh hell, I've got a lot on my gaming plate. For starters, I want to finish up Suikoden Tierkreis. I keep meaning to, but Fallout's Pitt download has stolen some of my time lately, as has repeated games of Wii Bowling. Beyond that, I want to finish up Star Ocean for the 360, Resistance 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, and get all the unlockables for Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.
Beyond that, I need to buy a PS2 so I can play and finish up copies of God of War 1 & 2, the Kingdom Hearts games, and the Xenosaga games. Whew.

I have a ton but I probably won't take the time to go back and finish them now. Well some I really need to finish are GTA: San Andreas, Gears Of War 2 on insane, Evil playthrough on Fallout 3, and my first play through Oblivion: GOTY. Yeah I'm set for a while.

"I have a lot of games to complete."Ah good, I am not the only one not to have completed Oblivion then.
Quite a few. I have a tendency to loss interest in games that get a little slow.
Here is just a few of the games i haven't finished yet...
Persona 3 -Have had it for a while just haven't put it into my PS2.
Disgaea 2: Cursed memories - Just played a few minutes of it and wanted to shot myself for paying $20 for it.
Okami - I can't draw the lines good enough so it annoys the hell out of me.
Funny you should mention that, because I just finally played through and beat the original Deus Ex. I was never able to cope with the lack of an autosave feature, and I finally sucked it up and mashed the quicksave key as often as I could. Next up on my list is Final Fantasy XII. I made a save in the last dungeon in the game and I just kind of got distracted by something else for about two years, so now I feel like I have to replay it in it's entirety.
I want to do the whole "not buy a new game until I complete all my games" thing, but I have over 60 games to beat (including downloaded titles).
Half Life 2 (still on my first playthrough from about 3 or 4 months ago)
Ninja Gaiden for the xbox (see above)
Final Fantasy VIII (I have to re-buy the game, seeing as my discs are so screwed up that it could never progress past this one part in the game. But this game is too amazing for me to not finish, so eventually I'll have to re-buy this game and finish it.)
Resident Evil CVX Code Veronica (I've had this game for a long time, but I never finished it. Dunno why.)
Well i still have to complete TES4 oblivion, i want to complete it but there is so much stuff to do.
The darkness, i am in hell now
Alone in the dark
Banjo kazooie
Spiderman 3 ( yeah i like it)
god of war 2
rayman 3, this came out when i was like 10, so i couldn't complete it, but now i am going to complete it.
That's about it i think.
- Prince of Persia Warrior Within (Jumping off those masts then hopping up those walls pisses me off)
- System Shock 2 (Still...havent...beaten...it)
- Timeshift
- Prey (This ones doubtful...it started off good then dropped off.....waiting for #2)
- Any RTS game
Some lesser known titles which include
- Starsiege
- Hunter Hunter ( Just finished but...it took me almost 10 years...)
- Descent 2
Does finishing a long campaign in Medieval 2: Total War count? I'm on just over turn 300 and about 50 hours into it. I went from 4 allies to none in 5 turns because a neutral faction (Denmark) decided to attack me and when I defended, I lost Portugal as an ally. They attacked me so I retaliated and Mongols didn't like that so they broke my alliance so I took Algiers from them. Meanwhile, Hungary and Denmark were putting the beatdown on my ally the Holy Roman Empire and killed them off. Finally, my last ally, the Papal States (I install popes so my relationship is usually perfect) broke our alliance and excommunicated me for attacking Portugal. I annihilated Portugal and Spain and am currently killing off Denmark and the Moors because they keep trying to take southern Spain.
"Oh geez! xDYou think that's bad? I have an entire f'ing list of games I have to complete! And most of the bastards are RPGs!

"I want to do the whole "not buy a new game until I complete all my games" thing, but I have over 60 games to beat (including downloaded titles)."I have less than that but I know what you mean. I stupidly bought lots and just havent done them or spent a long time on many of them either like Fallout 3 and Oblivion.
My feeling is now to get through these before buying more.
Huge pile for me unfortunately. I really like to finish things once I start them, but I keep fucking this up by buying more and more games. I'll give a quick list:
- Cryostasis - PC
- GTA IV - PC (a little over halfway through)
- GTA CW - DS
- Braid - PC
- Chrono Trigger - DS
- Burnout Paradise - PC (only on the B class license
- Revenant Wings - DS (game didn't really grab me when I started playing so I may never finish this)
- Bioshock - PC
- GRAW 2 - PC
- Far Cry 2 - PC (I think I just have two or three missions left)
- Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway - PC
- Prince of Persia - PC
- Fallout 3 - PC (barely played any of this because of the HDR bug)
- Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - PC
- Tomb Raider - Anniversary - PC
- Call of Duty 2 - PC
- Splinter Cell - Double Agent - PC
- Beyond Good and Evil - PC
- World of Goo - PC
Edit: Oh yeah, and Persona 4 - PS2
I just finished Persona 4 (true ending), probably going to play it again, max all the social links.
Persona 3 FES
Riddick: Dark Athena (finished Butcher Bay, will replay for points.)
Rouge Galaxy
Sonic Chronicles
Fallout 3: The Pit (downloaded not played yet.)
Ill jump into that list soon, right now I'm just focusing on getting 1000 in RE5, I'm almost there.

I also gotta add:
Zelda 3
Zelda
Zelda Majora's Mask
Splinter Cell Choas Theory
The Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction
Prince Of Persia Warrior Within
EDIT:
Tomb Raider 1
Duke Nukem 64
Duke Nukem 3D
- Shadow of the Colossus
- Lost Planet
- Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
- Ninja Gaiden II
I've also got some DLC to finish for several games, as well as some XBLA releases.
"I just finished Persona 4 (true ending), probably going to play it again, max all the social links.Persona 3 FESRiddick: Dark Athena (finished Butcher Bay, will replay for points.)Rouge Galaxy Sonic Chronicles Fallout 3: The Pit (downloaded not played yet.)Ill jump into that list soon, right now I'm just focusing on getting 1000 in RE5, I'm almost there."
Rogue Galaxy is a treat... and now I want to play through it again. Sigh.
Lots and lots.
The Orange Box (I've only finished Portal)
Oblivion (I'm working on that one right now)
Banjo: Nuts and Bolts (I'm almost done)
FEAR (still haven't opened it and now the sequel is out...)
Perfect Dark Zero (I've only played the first level)
Viva Pinata (I'll probably never play it again, I don't need that kind of stress in my life)
Saints Row (Maybe I'll beat it, maybe)
Burnout Paradise (Barely scratched the surface)
The Darkness (I'm probably like 60% deep)
Ninja Gaiden 2 (I'm kinda stuck)
I'm holding off on finishing Fallout 3 until the expansion comes out that lets you play past the ending, I still have to finish the last part of the main quest on Oblivion (I'm in like 500 hours on that game), have yet to start Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, Lost Odyssey and Battlefield Bad Company.
"Far too many."Eh, mine's worse. Not counting more recent games, my list is 123 games long. 122 in a few days :P.
nothing this year I've finished
persona 4
prince of Persia
dead space
godfather 2
RE5
lord of the rings conquest
I have a few that I haven't finished as well.
Chronno Trigger for the DS
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin
Lunar Dragon Song
Final Fantasy III
Suikoden V
Nocturne
Grimgrimoire
Longest Journey
Dreamfall: The Longest Journey
But this sure isn't stopping me from buying more games. In fact, I have a few that will arrive this week.
Dead Space and Hotel Dusk: Room 215. God knows why I've been putting them off for so long, they're both excellent games.
"vidiot said:Hell yeah! I'm on my second run through right now (it has been one year since the last time). I'm at the Daytron Corp. about to stop Jupis. I never had the drive to complete the hunter list and meet the kill requirements for all the beasts. I also have Bully, LBP, and Burnout Paradise."I just finished Persona 4 (true ending), probably going to play it again, max all the social links.Persona 3 FESRiddick: Dark Athena (finished Butcher Bay, will replay for points.)Rouge Galaxy Sonic Chronicles Fallout 3: The Pit (downloaded not played yet.)Ill jump into that list soon, right now I'm just focusing on getting 1000 in RE5, I'm almost there."Rogue Galaxy is a treat... and now I want to play through it again. "I got Chinatown wars, Pokemon Platinum, CoH and im halfway through Oblivion's story but have completed all guild quests(probably not gonna bother with oblivion)."i wouldn't bother with oblivion's main campaign; far too repetitive.
however, i still need to complete:
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Silent Hill Origins
GTA: Chinatown Wars
hmm..seems far less underwhelming now that i look at it.
