what is the cheapest NEW game thah you bought?

for me i think was Viewtiful (not Beautiful) Joe 2, it cost me like 17 dollars.
But my cousin once bought a game in 2.5 bucks, It was a rap music karaoke, but she doesnt bought a microphone, so she never played that game. stupid cousin.

Assassin's Creed, Riddick: Dark Athena, and Neverwinter Nights 2 all for $5 each earlier this week from Direct2Drive's 5 year anniversary sale. I'll probably pick up more next week or the week after when the other genres become sale items.
 
If those aren't new enough, I got SF4 for $20 also.
 
Such prices have kept me satisfied (read: relieved) with my recent PC hardware purchases. It wasn't always this good, and now is the time to invest in the games.

A little below $2 is probably the lowest. The most recent was Orange Box (PS3) for $5 at Best Buy.

The most recent one I can think of is Alone in the Dark for $5. Yeah, I know - I overpaid.

I got Lord of the Rings Online Special Edition for $1, including 30 days game time.
 
Also picked up Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for $2.

I got every Valve game made for $100.

A collector's edition of Perfect Dark Zero for $3.

I got Audiosurf for $2 on Steam.

I got Fallout 3 for $40 about a month after its release

When my local independant game store went broke I got a bunch of crap really cheaply. I think the best priced game was $20 for a game that was original best found for about $89 in any stores.

Probably $5 for Braid?  For a retail copy, Viva Pinata for $9.99.  Got every achievement.  Worth every penny.

$.50 for a copy of Age Of Empires Gold at the grocery store checkout. There's a huge bin of older PC titles for next to nothing at most grocery stores and even some gas stations here in Houston it seems. Got Half-Life for almost nothing as well.

I paid two dollars for a copy of Road Rash 3D on the Playstation when I was in Elementary School. Sony was holding this event at my local PX, and I got a coupon!
 
I had an awesome time with that game too!

I would have got Lost Planet for $15 but apparently I had money on a gift card that I forgot I had in my wallet.

paid 9 dollars for dead or alive 2 hardcore.. i would of gladly payed more for it. it's such an awesome game

I work at a Target and usually just check what is back there, when they have about 8 or more of the game I usually just wait till there is only 1-3 left or till they mark it down enough. I also just asked one of my managers which day they are *supposed* to go through and mark them down again (Monday at my store). So, that is how I do that. Worst part about it all though is I have an expanded library of games I only kinda play or some I havent touched at all...

Oh yeah, I bought one of those Sega GT 2000/Jet Set Radio Future double packs for a dollar at GameStop. I wasn't really all that into either game (SGT2000 got maybe 30 minutes from me), but for a dollar? Hell, fantastic.
