Tales of Abyss 3D, Tales of Graces F, Xenoblade Chronicles, Disgaea 3 Vita, Skyrim, Rayman Origins, and a few others for me.
- Mass Effect 3 (finish)
- Fez (finish)
- Gears of War 2 (finish)
- Halo: Reach (finish)
- Warhammer 40K: Space Marine (finish)
- Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II & Chaos Rising (finish/start)
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (finish)
- SMT: Persona 3 FES (start)
- Cave Story + (finish)
- The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings: Enhanced Edition (start)
- Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (start)
- Pokemon Black (finish)
- Dark Souls (finish - I'll be really surprised if that ever happens. It's been so long since I've played at this point that I'd probably have to start all the way over.)
I think that's probably it. I'm sure I'll never finish some of it. I gave up on Darksiders a little while ago. I love Zeldalikes, but there was something about Darksiders that just made it not fun to play. Anything I finish/start, however, is going to have to come in a week and a half, when it's officially summer time.
My backlog is BY FAR the largest it's ever been.
Shadow of the Colossus HD
Metal Gear Solid 2 HD
Metal Gear Solid 3 HD*
Peace Walker HD
Beyond Good and Evil HD
Saints Row: The Third*
The Witcher 2*
Resident Evil 5
And that doesn't even include the 50+ games on Steam that I've never touched.
*I'm in the process of actively trying to play through these.
Uhm weird but just wrote a blog on this picking out a few. If you guys want to help me pick what order to play them in check out my blog. But basically they are Dead Space, Fallout: New Vegas, God of War: Ghost of Sparta, Nier, Rayman: Origins, Twisted Metal, Uncharted 3 and Yakuza 4. So many games so many trophies...so little time.
you want me to list all 242+ games on my pile of shame?
I had no clue there was a website for backlogged games. I ought to add mine there, as I have a ton unlisted. The ones I have listed are my top priority.
if you like keeping track of how long it took you to finish a game, you could also make an account on howlongtobeat.com where you can enter completion times for your games and it compiles the average into a database that's quite helpful if you just wanna check out how long a game is you're looking to play.
for my own stuff, tough, I really like backloggery because it comes with a nice little community aspect.
Also Red Dead Redemption, which I don't believe I've added to that list.
EDIT: Yeah, Red Dead Redemption is already on that list. So there's *almost* everything. Everything of note is on there, anyway.
ugh... so much....
- Fallout 3
- Fallout New Vegas
- Red Dead Redemption
- Alan Wake
- Bioshock 2
- Lost Odyssey
- Brutal Legend
- Dante's inferno
- Crackdown 2
- Space Marine
- DarkStar One
and i need to get back to Skyrim, Saints Row the Third, Fable III and Deus Ex: Human Revolution to finish them.
It's sad that these are just the games I have started, have yet to finish, and plan on finishing. I probably have 50 games I bought and have yet to put in.
- Mass Effect 3
- Dirt 3
- Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
- El Shaddai
- Gears of War 2
- Dark Souls
- Saint's Row The Third
The sad part is, out of all these very good to amazing games, I got The First Templar for $9, started to play it, am actually enjoying it, and will most likely finish it before all the others.
Can this be of games I'm going to, and have wanted to buy and play? I don't really have any games that I want to beat because I feel like I should. I mean, there's games like Catherine, the two Souls games, and a handful of RPG's, but I don't feel the need to beat those. Games that I should have bought and beat already are Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Syndicate, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and inFAMOUS 2.
finished the main story in skyrim but i still want to go back to it
other than that
mass effect 2
arkham city (going to completely restart it; hated it the first time through)
metal gear series (starting with metal gear 1 + 2 / havent started, saving that for summer)
just finished assassins creed brotherhood so i want to pick up revelations
others that i may or may not get to are;
replaying half life 2 ep 1 + 2
left 4 dead (1 & 2; played bits at a time, but want to play through the whole thing properly)
maybe doom 3 / prey - no hurry
max payne 1+2
kotor if i get into it
main one i want to get out of the way is ME2
Dark Souls, Infamous, Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Mass Effect 2, Total War Shogun 2, Persona 3 FES, Rayman Origins, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Beyond Good and Evil HD, Starcraft 2, Trine 1, Magicka, Halo Reach, and Trials Evolution.
I think I have more than enough to keep me from getting bored.
- Dark Souls: at the last boss, but I need to level up some more because I'm not that skilled.
- Skyrim: played it for 20 hours when it came out, was busy for month, went back to it and couldn't remember anything. Waiting until dead summer to re-play and finish it.
- Kingdoms of Amalur: played it for five hours a month ago. Might not ever get back to it, though; just didn't grab me. Last resort once everything else is finished.
- Mass Effect 3
Playing Xenoblade right now, and then probably the Witcher 2 after that.
It's a big list so:
Mass Effect 3
Ratchet and Clank Future: Crack in Time
Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes
Knights of the Old Republic
The Witcher 2
Tales of Monkey Islands Episodes 3-5
The Longest Journey
Neverwinter Nights 2
Monkey Island 1 and 2
I don't really have much of a backlog right now but more of a long list of games I'm currently playing.
- World of Warcraft (pretty off and on right now until expansion)
- Xenoblade Chronicles (barely into it)
- Fez (about halfway through)
- Skullgirls (need to practice, as I suck at fighting games)
Also have Radiant Historia to play after I finish Xenoblade (don't like playing two RPGs at once) and plan on picking up Trials: Evolution in the near future. After that, I plan to wait until more stuff I want comes out, particularly Diablo 3 in a few weeks.
Its currently at 51 and here are some of the ones I plan on playing within the new few months.
Ace Combat Assault Horizon
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Batman: Arkham City
Goldeneye 007 Reloaded
Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning
Ridge Racer Unbounded
The Darkness 2
Currently playing The Witcher 2 and Forza 4.
I just counted 88 games on my Steam list alone.
Recent regrets from there include:
- Dead Space 2
- Witcher 2
- Battlefield 3 counts as steam right?
I don't even want to count my console games, but given a quick glance, these games are still in shrink wrap.
- Mortal Kombat
- Super Street Fighter IV AE
- Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD
- No More Heroes Paradise
- Killzone 2 + 3
- Final Fantasy XIII
- 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors
- Picross 3D
- Rhythm Heaven
- Pokemon Soul Silver
Plus more that I've opened and played for around 15 minutes.
Fallout: New Vegas, Mass Effect 3, and after I pick it up tomorrow, The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition. I should also get back to Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker HD, but it's been too long so I think I'm just gonna strike that off my list.
Edit: Totally forgot Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Splinter Cell: Conviction. Funny how you forget the older ones.
~ 80 games on Steam including The Witcher, Dead Rising 2, Fallout New Vegas, Farcry 2, STALKER Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat, Empire Total War, Napoleon Total War, GRID, LA Noire w/ DLC, Crysis and Crysis Warhead, Bioshock and Bioshock 2, Bastion, Splinter Cell (Chaos Theory, Double Agent and Conviction.), Trine, Star Wars Jedi Knight (Dark Forces, Dark Forces II, Mysteries of the Sith, and Jedi Academy), Sam and Max seasons 1, 2 and 3, Psychonauts, Portal 2 (I've played an hour of it), Mount and Blade Warband, Medal of Honour Airborne, Mass Effect, Spacechem, Borderlands DLC (I've beat the main game), Duke Nukem Forever, Europa Universalis III, Hearts of Iron III, Cryostasis, The Maw, Max Payne and Max Payne 2, and many more.
Games not on Steam to finish:
- Neverwinter Nights 2 on Mac (I bought it for $0.99 on the app store. So far I have created my character and listened to the amazing main menu music for a bit, but that's it. I'm marathoning it once finals are done)
- Fallout (free from GOG)
- Bard's Tale on iPad (was on sale for 1.99)
- FF1 on iPad (I've played about 2 hours of it)
- Pokemon White on my DS, that's been sitting for over a year.
- Soon, Baldur's Gate on iPad once that comes out because I am definitely buying it.
