I remember playing that when I was little and just being blown away. The mix of levels, riding the different animals, those bonus rounds where you just run around collecting shit like crazy, and MINE CART MADNESS. What an amazing game.

UGH! I even freakin' researched this one. Dude, you don't have to educate me, I played that game through a few times. It's brilliant. The flaw with a real person typing up a poll like this is that these kind of mistakes can happen. Somehow I missed it when checking the Wiki on released games. :/ I don't know how I forgot it as it's one of my favorites.

The first donkey kong country for Snes. Granted I haven't played the rest but the graphics at the time... even now actually are OUT-STANDING! I remember loving the snow-worlds with the weather effects. Oh man... I need to find my copy...
I'm so silly hyped for the new one for wii that i probably have to buy one...
Donkey Kong Country holds a special place in my heart for being my first game ever, but DKC 2 was superrior in every way, and today it is still one of my favorite games ever
