I grew up playing the nes and will always be my favorite system. My favorite game is the original Super Mario Bros.

Super Mario Bros. 1,2,3 and Zelda

Mike Tyson's Punch Out,  then Super Mario 3.

Mario 2, Castlevania, Metroid.

Super Mario Bros. 3 and Ninja Gaiden

Metriod or Mario Bros 3

Hulk like Little Nemo Dream Master.  Don't judge Hulk.

This thread is just going to read like a pointless list of games.

Having said that.. Mega Man 2

Not counting emulation of any kind, I'll say that the my favorite NES game, that I played on an actual NES console was World Championship Wrestling.

Contra because it makes me feel like Rambo.

The Legend of Zelda.

Simon's Quest, I know that it's supposedly pretty bad, as AVGN made a case for, but as a kid, i loved it, and still do.  Maybe nostalgia is blinding me to it's inherent badness.
