Still The Witness.

But really, an 'other' option might be a good idea.

How are you picking these games? You are still missing everything coming to Nintendo systems and other stuff like The Crew and Shovel Knight.

#3 Edited by Yummylee (23242 posts) -

Dis fuckin' guy.

#4 Posted by Pezen (1769 posts) -

EA Sports UFC.

After that though, I am curious about Destiny.

The rest, well, either I haven't seen enough or I am just not that interested. A title I am interested in is The Division and who knows when that'll show up.

#5 Posted by Poonz (160 posts) -

Kingdom Hearts 3 although I bet it gets pushed to next year.

#6 Posted by Deadmanforking (583 posts) -

A fucking South Park game! What has the world come to!

#7 Posted by Zevvion (2997 posts) -

Dark Souls II, easily.

Also really looking forward to South Park.

#8 Posted by SlashDance (1864 posts) -

The Witness should be on the list.

#9 Posted by Gamer_152 (14282 posts) -

I'm looking forward to Titanfall and The Witness, but more than anything else I still want Watch_Dogs, just thinking about it gets me hyped. I'm also very enthused about the upcoming episodes of The Walking Dead: Season Two, but depending on your definition they might not count as whole games within themselves.

#10 Posted by Chaser324 (7105 posts) -

At least a few of those are probably not going to hit in 2014 (Phantom Pain, Kingdom Hearts 3, FF XV).

Honestly, right now all I can think about is wanting to play more Titanfall, but I'm also looking forward to Witcher 3 and Destiny later this year. I also have high hopes for Insomniac's new game, Sunset Overdrive.

#11 Posted by MikeJFlick (452 posts) -

The Witcher 3 followed by MGS.

#12 Posted by RazielCuts (3066 posts) -

Infamous and Destiny at the moment. Then when we come closer to the time probably Dragon Age. E3 shall be interesting. I just really hope Destiny is more than Bungie's take on a Borderlands game.

#13 Posted by Chumley_Marchbanks (189 posts) -

I chose Dark Souls 2 over Titanfall only because I just finished Dark Souls the other day. Looking forward to both of them equally.

#14 Posted by believer258 (12812 posts) -

After a generation with only one Final Fantasy game, I want to see how FFXV turns out. Oh, I'm not excited for it. I'm curious about it.

I'm actually excited for... I dunno. Titanfall seemed really good from the demo. I don't even have this year's releases straight in my head.

#15 Posted by Fattony12000 (7943 posts) -

No Persona 5 or X?

#16 Posted by Chaser324 (7105 posts) -

@fattony12000: I know you're preparing for your trip to Japan, but I think most of us on this forum probably won't be playing Persona 5 in 2014.

#17 Posted by hermes (1742 posts) -

Out of that list, FF15... But I doubt half those game will be out this year.

#18 Edited by Marcsman (3376 posts) -

The Witcher 3 by far

#19 Posted by JesterArbo (94 posts) -

Destiny for myself.

#20 Posted by probablytuna (4165 posts) -

For the moment, it's Dark Souls 2 followed by Ground Zeroes since they are so close to release. The Witcher 3 is third for me.

It was Lords of Shadow 2. Although it did not live to people's expectations, nor mine, I had a real blast with it once it clicked. And it clicked 10 hours in. Now, getting ready to replay it to 100% it.

I want Ground Zeroes and Witcher 3 as much as the next person, but I don't feel the hype for it like I did with LoS2. I was almost counting the days last week.

#23 Posted by FriendlyPhoenix (541 posts) -

Out of that list, I'm most excited for Final Fantasy XV. But there's no way in hell it or Kingdom Hearts are coming out this year. I doubt we'll see Kingdom Hearts until late 2016 at the very soonest. After E3, Nomura said that he felt it was too early in the dev cycle to announce the game. He wouldn't have said that if the game wasn't still a ways off.

So I voted for the Witcher 3, because that game looks fucking amazing and is almost certainly probably coming out this year.

#24 Edited by CaLe (4247 posts) -

Dark SLS }{ followed by Witch game. I like also to play Metal Solid - Pain. I hope Watchdog is good but ---- who knows? Then I want to try John Blow Witness -- SO many colorful and puzzling you know? The Division game LOOKS really good but if it focus multi then no go for me --- too bad. Some others too I'm sure. Just wait and see game.

How many game light a fire on my heart this 2014? Ask me 2015 :) OK?

#25 Posted by Karkarov (3760 posts) -

I am going for phantom pain even though I know it isn't hitting in 2014. After that it is probably Witcher 3 or The Division.

#26 Posted by Brandaravon (6 posts) -

Dark Souls is the top one on this list. The others at the top of my list would probably be the Persona 4 Arena sequel and Bayonetta 2. The P4A sequel might be the most anticipated if it was still called "The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold" in the States.

#27 Edited by ArtisanBreads (4654 posts) -

The Witcher 3 and it's not very close.

Also very interested in the new DA but I highly doubt that comes out this year. MGSV either for that matter.

#28 Posted by Blu3V3nom07 (4201 posts) -

Halo 2 Anniversary Edition.

#29 Posted by Steadying (1623 posts) -

FFXV is most certainly not coming out this year. But FFXV.

#30 Posted by Krockett (509 posts) -

DARK SOULS 2 ^----^

#31 Posted by anab0lic (9 posts) -

I cant really narrow it down to just one, especially this year as there is more I'm looking forward too than has been released in a single year for a long time...

If i had to narrow it down to just 10...

Dark Souls 2 - PC

Smash bros - Wii U

Mario Kart 8 - Wii U

Wasteland 2 - PC

Divinity Original sin - PC

Planetary Annihilation - PC

Pillars of Eternity - PC

Hotline Miami 2 - Vita

Starbound - Vita

The Witcher 3 - PC

#32 Posted by SunBroZak (1744 posts) -

My mind goes straight to Dark Souls 2, but I'm really interested in playing more Wolf Among Us.

Sunset Overdrive. I'm confused as to why everyone seems to be ignoring it....

#35 Edited by Aegon (6651 posts) -

Lol Kingdom Hearts 3? You guys, what about that makes you think it's coming out any time soon? FF XV is definitely releasing before that.

From what's guaranteed to come out, I'd choose Witcher 3.

#36 Edited by JJBSterling (318 posts) -

The Division really blew me away when they revealed it at E3 and I can't wait to see what that game turns out to actually be like.

#37 Posted by AlexW00d (6737 posts) -

How are you picking these games? You are still missing everything coming to Nintendo systems and other stuff like The Crew and Shovel Knight.

There are games coming to Nintendo systems?

#38 Posted by Pr1mus (4102 posts) -

The only full priced game i'm looking for this year is Dark Souls II.

I only picked up Left Behind so far and i'm sorta looking forward to Trials Fusion and that's kinda it really. There is also a big "maybe" regarding Reaper of Souls and Ground Zeroes i suppose.

Of course there's a couple games i need to know more about but i don't see myself spending a lot this year which is exactly what i've been hoping for for a couple years already anyway.

#39 Edited by BabyChooChoo (5261 posts) -

Guilty Gear Xrd without question. My I-No is godlike. My Dizzy is godlike too, but I don't know whether she'll be in the first home iteration of the game. Hopefully the entire cast will be back when they get around to Guilty Gear XXXrd 5th Metal Symphony Climaximus though.

#40 Edited by futurstock (183 posts) -

i think this site will be hugely biased to dark souls 2
its produced allot of immensely great content for us and will continue to provide!
its coming out pretty soon so i know its on the front of allot of our minds =p

im seeing allot of great games on that list that i'd forgotten about though!

#41 Posted by Jackentrote (45 posts) -

Every passing day I get closer to my death because I don't have The Witcher 3 in my hands.

The other games on this list, many of which seem great, are meaningless compared to the third Witcher for me.

#42 Posted by Vextroid (1459 posts) -

Ground Zeroes most definitely followed by Smash Bros., Watch_Dogs and Infamous Second Son (Which I know nothing about. Kinda of excited actually).

#43 Edited by JellyFish_Gsus (769 posts) -

Wasn't the division pushed back until 2015? Dark souls 2 for me followed by Phantom Pain.

#44 Posted by BigJeffrey (5059 posts) -

Quantum Break by Remedy, If that does not hit this year then the new Halo.

#45 Edited by thatdutchguy (1294 posts) -

Are Star Wars Battlefront 3 or The Division not coming out in 2014 ?

I think dat Police Battlefield is this year, and Battlefront next year.

Drakengard 3

(half for the soundtrack, but still)

#48 Posted by MonkeyKing1969 (3683 posts) -

There are a lot of game that could be good, but the only one I would bet on being good is Tom Clancy's The Division. The concept seems sound, what we have seen seems to be workable, so it is a better bet than some of those games.

#49 Posted by Hippie_Genocide (896 posts) -

Sunset Overdrive. I'm confused as to why everyone seems to be ignoring it....

Insomniac games not named Ratchet & Clank (and even that luster has been fading) tend to be not very good. I hope they can comeback with SO; you can definitely see how the scrapped art from what eventually became Fuse got repurposed. Probably for the better.

Destiny is a close second but Dragon Age wins for me. I'm a sucker for Bioware, and i loved Dragon Age 1 and 2.
