What is your most anticipated 2014 video game?
How are you picking these games? You are still missing everything coming to Nintendo systems and other stuff like The Crew and Shovel Knight.
I'm looking forward to Titanfall and The Witness, but more than anything else I still want Watch_Dogs, just thinking about it gets me hyped. I'm also very enthused about the upcoming episodes of The Walking Dead: Season Two, but depending on your definition they might not count as whole games within themselves.
At least a few of those are probably not going to hit in 2014 (Phantom Pain, Kingdom Hearts 3, FF XV).
Honestly, right now all I can think about is wanting to play more Titanfall, but I'm also looking forward to Witcher 3 and Destiny later this year. I also have high hopes for Insomniac's new game, Sunset Overdrive.
Infamous and Destiny at the moment. Then when we come closer to the time probably Dragon Age. E3 shall be interesting. I just really hope Destiny is more than Bungie's take on a Borderlands game.
I chose Dark Souls 2 over Titanfall only because I just finished Dark Souls the other day. Looking forward to both of them equally.
@fattony12000: I know you're preparing for your trip to Japan, but I think most of us on this forum probably won't be playing Persona 5 in 2014.
For the moment, it's Dark Souls 2 followed by Ground Zeroes since they are so close to release. The Witcher 3 is third for me.
@chaser324: 笑笑笑笑
It was Lords of Shadow 2. Although it did not live to people's expectations, nor mine, I had a real blast with it once it clicked. And it clicked 10 hours in. Now, getting ready to replay it to 100% it.
I want Ground Zeroes and Witcher 3 as much as the next person, but I don't feel the hype for it like I did with LoS2. I was almost counting the days last week.
Out of that list, I'm most excited for Final Fantasy XV. But there's no way in hell it or Kingdom Hearts are coming out this year. I doubt we'll see Kingdom Hearts until late 2016 at the very soonest. After E3, Nomura said that he felt it was too early in the dev cycle to announce the game. He wouldn't have said that if the game wasn't still a ways off.
So I voted for the Witcher 3, because that game looks fucking amazing and is almost certainly probably coming out this year.
Dark SLS }{ followed by Witch game. I like also to play Metal Solid - Pain. I hope Watchdog is good but ---- who knows? Then I want to try John Blow Witness -- SO many colorful and puzzling you know? The Division game LOOKS really good but if it focus multi then no go for me --- too bad. Some others too I'm sure. Just wait and see game.
How many game light a fire on my heart this 2014? Ask me 2015 :) OK?
Dark Souls is the top one on this list. The others at the top of my list would probably be the Persona 4 Arena sequel and Bayonetta 2. The P4A sequel might be the most anticipated if it was still called "The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold" in the States.
The Witcher 3 and it's not very close.
Also very interested in the new DA but I highly doubt that comes out this year. MGSV either for that matter.
I cant really narrow it down to just one, especially this year as there is more I'm looking forward too than has been released in a single year for a long time...
If i had to narrow it down to just 10...
Dark Souls 2 - PC
Smash bros - Wii U
Mario Kart 8 - Wii U
Wasteland 2 - PC
Divinity Original sin - PC
Planetary Annihilation - PC
Pillars of Eternity - PC
Hotline Miami 2 - Vita
Starbound - Vita
The Witcher 3 - PC
The Division really blew me away when they revealed it at E3 and I can't wait to see what that game turns out to actually be like.

There are games coming to Nintendo systems?
The only full priced game i'm looking for this year is Dark Souls II.
I only picked up Left Behind so far and i'm sorta looking forward to Trials Fusion and that's kinda it really. There is also a big "maybe" regarding Reaper of Souls and Ground Zeroes i suppose.
Of course there's a couple games i need to know more about but i don't see myself spending a lot this year which is exactly what i've been hoping for for a couple years already anyway.
Guilty Gear Xrd without question. My I-No is godlike. My Dizzy is godlike too, but I don't know whether she'll be in the first home iteration of the game. Hopefully the entire cast will be back when they get around to Guilty Gear XXXrd 5th Metal Symphony Climaximus though.
i think this site will be hugely biased to dark souls 2
its produced allot of immensely great content for us and will continue to provide!
its coming out pretty soon so i know its on the front of allot of our minds =p
im seeing allot of great games on that list that i'd forgotten about though!
Every passing day I get closer to my death because I don't have The Witcher 3 in my hands.
The other games on this list, many of which seem great, are meaningless compared to the third Witcher for me.
Are Star Wars Battlefront 3 or The Division not coming out in 2014 ?
I think dat Police Battlefield is this year, and Battlefront next year.
There are a lot of game that could be good, but the only one I would bet on being good is Tom Clancy's The Division. The concept seems sound, what we have seen seems to be workable, so it is a better bet than some of those games.
Sunset Overdrive. I'm confused as to why everyone seems to be ignoring it....
Insomniac games not named Ratchet & Clank (and even that luster has been fading) tend to be not very good. I hope they can comeback with SO; you can definitely see how the scrapped art from what eventually became Fuse got repurposed. Probably for the better.
