OK, this is bullshit. Me and my friend are trying to have a game of Halo 3 but during gameplay we keep getting interrupted by a black screen which displays our gamertags and it says "Starting Game". Both of our latency thingies are red. When it gets back and we can play, things go smoothly for like 15-30 seconds until the exact same thing happens again. During the time we are able to play, both of our latency is in the all green. This has been going on for some while. I tried making a static IP address a little while ago and forwarding the ports required for XBL and my router through portforward.com, and that ended up with us not even being able to sustain a private chat. HELP ME. I literally have no where else to go for this, I have searched this issue up and down the internet and all the answers I got told me that my NAT was strict. That's when I tried the whole forwarding port thing, but to no avail.

By the way, I followed the forwarding steps given by both portforward.com and the support from Microsoft. Microsoft said to use 80 TCP, 88 UDP, 53 BOTH, 3074 BOTH. I'm pretty sure portforward.com just has the 80, 53 and 3074.

@Dipstick: I already tried that, as I stated in my first post. I've even put DMZ on.

Then it either did it wrong or there something you're not telling us about your router.

OK, secrets out. It's a homosexual router.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

@Dipstick:
My router is an SMC 7004VWBR. What else would I be able to tell you? I will try to get as much info as I can.
