What podcasts do you listen to?

I listen to podcasts on my way to work, on a run or at the gym. The top podcast in my line-up is, of course, The Giantbombcast, and then the remainder of my time is spent on 1 or 2 other podcasts. I love the GBcast because it's funny and informative and it's not just the guys talking about what they have played but them delving into other serious issues, like last weeks discussion on the ethics of reviewing video games and the different hats that people adopt when they do so, and I love these kinds of discussions.

The other main video game podcast I listen to is called "4 player podcast" but I am tired of that podcast and am ready to cut it for something better. So, what podcasts would you recommend for someone who likes video games and general technology, and talks about light as well as serious topics, but with a splash of humour?

Obviously GBcast, Podcast Beyond, Roosterteeth Podcast and TGS Podcast

That's quite a few podcasts. Are they all video game related?

I feel like there's been this thread before...

Right now the Bombcast is the only one I listen to but on occasion I'll listen to what the 8-4 guys are up to.

I've just started listening to Retsutalk, it's really interesting if you watch way too many Let's Plays like I do. The newest episode talks about about Pewdiepie as a Let's Player and the hosts' joke video "Adults React to Pewdiepie", and the internet drama is just fascinating.

The Legacy Music Hour and Top Score podcasts are great if you're interested in video game music. Other than that I listen to the Joystiq Podcast, The Besties, Official Playstation Blogcast, and a bunch other non-gaming-related podcasts.

How has nobody brought up My Brother, My Brother, And Me yet? Y'all disappoint me.

(MBMBAM is great because it's a comedy show hosted by the McElroy brothers, 2 of which are games journalists currently at Polygon)

Other than the Bombcast, the only other podcast I listen to is the Figure 4 Weekly/Wrestling Observer podcast. I listen to the free episodes because I'm too cheap to spend money on another membership.

• Digital Gonzo (when I am interested in the movie, game, etc. that they will be discussing)

Bombcast and tested from time to time. For awhile I was listening to the 8-4 and Comedy Button shows but I lost interest in them after awhile.

Nowadays, I listen to few podcasts.

Besides, obviously, listening to the bombcast, I also like:

Bombcast, 8-4 Play, The Tobolowsky Files, /filmcast, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, Idle Thumbs, Tested, How Did This Get Made, The Vergecast, Firewall and Iceberg Cast, The Watching Dead (and other TV show specific casts, when they are in season). I think that's all of them.

The main ones I listen to are:

These three fill up the commute nicely, especially the bombcast.

Not much to add, but hailing from the UK; I would be remissed to not mention the likes of PC Gamer UK and The Empire Podcast (films and some of the more high-profile interviews I heard on a podcast). Kevin Smith's Batman stuff is alright, if you can get through people weeping over batman storylines (No joke, people cry in that thing).

O and Gamespot Gameplay, cause it quite good most of the time... sometimes... It's quite entertaining. Keep at it Kevin!

Bombcast, Gamespot Gameplay, Citizen Radio (a progressive/liberal politics/news podcast which is pretty funny, and really awesome), The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe, Double Feature (a cool movie podcast where they cover two movies, usually with some kind of theme in common, although often the theme is a pretty big stretch), Harmontown (Dan Harmon's podcasted stage show) and I often listen to This is Only a Test.

I also feature on a comics podcast, LUU Comic Soc-Cast for my university's comics society (which I'm the secretary of), and a media analysis/current affairs podcast, In the Sprawl, with two other lefty-liberal dudes.

The only podcast I can stand these days is Idle Thumbs and also their book podcast.

Giant Bombcast (of course), Gamespot Gameplay, CAGcast, 2 chimps on a Davenport, and Radioradar. All of them are awesome!

Thanks everyone. I am going to check out a few of these podcasts. In all honesty though, I only have time about an extra hour or two on top o the GBC, so unless these podcasts are an hour long each, then I will probably only have room for another one.
 
I have a follow up question, if you would kindly humour me. When you try out a new podcast, how many episode do you give it before you decide to make it part of your regular rotation or to ditch it like a expired hobbo?
