Currently working on a big list of all the games I'm looking forward to like I do every year, but here's a spoiler.
What's your most anticipated game of 2015?
@mbradley1992: What they showed at TGAs was an extremely boring horse riding simulator, and if it's close to as good as that you'll love it?
Super excited to finally play The Last Guardian in 2015! Right? (please...)
More realistically, Persona 5 is the only game coming next year that I honestly can't wait to get into my PS4.
Witcher 3 and Metal Gear Solid V. I still am looking forward to Quantum Break a lot too but don't have an Xbox One. I always give Remedy a look, even though I didn't like Alan Wake.
At EGX in London earlier this year, nothing came close to generating as much anticipation hype as Witcher 3 so that'd be my number 1 hope for 2015.
Halo 5 is naturally also something I'm excited for.
Aside from that I'm just hopeful that there will be improvements to the general fare on offer compared to the underwhelming mediocrity of this year.

Yeah, when I saw that my interest in Zelda Wii U went from strongly considering buying a Wii U for it and other less important games to total apathy. Since I've seen that, I think Epona is the worst addition to the 3D Zelda games. I want a compressed world. Purposeful level design. Not a sea of emptiness.
Hellblade - I think Ninja Theory has gotten better with every game and I expect a lot out of this one. Also The Order just because it looks so pretty :)
MGSV for suuuuure. I didn't even know that Persona 5 was slated for 2015... guess i'm behind on news with that, but now I'm excited knowing that it's releasing soon. Arkham Knight looks pretty awesome and can't wait to see what craziness we get to experience this time, although no joker is still kind of bumming me out. Everything else I'm still on the fence about and need to see more footage of before I make a brash decision. I hated this year because everything that looked good or that was anticipated to be good, ended up falling flat. I figure if I stuck with series that I really really enjoyed this upcoming year, I can't go wrong.
So incredibly pumped for next year. Bloodborne, witcher, persona, metal gear, majoras mask, and a finished massive chalice. Going to be an awesome year if everything actually releases over here on time.
Oh and I forgot the banner saga 2! Sequel to this years obvious GOTY
I'm excited for The Witness
I'm pretty sure that's actually going to be released in 20160.
Really excited for Batman: Arkham Knight.
@whitestripes09: There's been a lot of great Batman stories that don't feature the Joker, including the best Batman arc in the last 5 years: Court of Owls. I'm really glad they are focusing on someone different this time around and Scarecrow is a really cool character.
Batman. Halo. Uh... That's it? I don't even know what else is coming out next year. Quantum Break? That's a thing right. There'll probably be a new Forza.
Lately I only buy a couple of new games a year and the rest that I play are games that have come out in previous years that I get on the cheap. I'll probably play Sunset Overdrive and LEGO Batman 3 next year. Maybe this year's CoD as well just for Kevin Spacey.
Definitely Mount&Blade II: Bannerlord! One of the best franchises out there.
Is that confirmed for 2015 release? I was gonna say Bloodborne, but if that's comin out next year... then it's still probably Bloodborne. But I'm also very excited for Bannerlord!

No and considering that the newest Devblog entry is about "offering you a glimpse of some of the features of our new engine and why we're making it" there's no way that it's coming out in 2015. Maybe Early Access in December.
MGS5 and Witcher 3 are on want list everything else is more in category of wait and see. A lot of video games this year have either been broken or different then advertised and its really made me cautious for future purchases. which is probly good thing as it will stop me from buying pre orders
I'm pretty sure Arkham Knight is going to suck. Origins was the first game I played in that series and I went back to play the other two. Good lord is Origins easily the best game in that series. Especially Arkham City's story is really, really bad. Compared to Origins it seems like the other two were made by children as far as the story goes. Also, it plays just fine? I guess if you already played City before it then nothing will really blow your mind, but I found it more fun to play and it looks a lot nicer with boss fights and whatnot.
Then the Arkham Knight guys come out and say: forget Origins, we're going to make a good one again. What? You were surpassed. Sounds like you're going to take a step back then.
Having played P4AU and PQ these past few weeks I've come to realize something; Persona 5 will be loaded with microtransactions. P4AU has characters, colour sets, glasses sets, navigators, background tracks, lobby avatars, and more. PQ has personas, navigators and a 3DS theme. I would expect the grand total of everything in P5 to come in around $120 to $150 and that makes me less excited about it.
- MGSV is far and away the top spot for me.
- Witcher 3 being close behind.
- Batman looks great.
- Cannot wait to play Grim Fandango for the first time.
- Obviously No Man's Sky
- Here's one that idk if anybody mentioned but is making me so excited: Galak-Z!!!
- Please pump Hotline Miami 2 into my veins!
- Whatever Firewatch is...
- ...aaaaaaaand BLOODBORNE!
- Blazblue Chrono Phantasma Extend
- Tales of Zestiria
Tales of Vesperia was the one and only Tales game I played, but I loved it. The Xilia games never appealed to me. Zestiria has my interest though.
I'm not going to hype P5. That series has gained so much popularity since P3/P4 that I'm doubtful.
Same case for Majora's Mask 3DS- Nintendo's statements so far have me concerned.
Though I haven't spent too much time with any of these franchises (at least not hands on) I'm pretty excited for Witcher 3, Persona 5, and Metal Gear Solid V.
I saw most of Persona 4 along with Vinny and Jeff and am doing the same with MGS with Dan and Drew. Witcher 2 is a game that's sitting on my shelf and I really need to just give it a good try to get through. I've replayed the beginning of that game 3 or 4 times now and just never push on. Maybe over the Christmas break I'll get the chance, away from Dragon Age, to finally do so.
(1) Witcher 3
(2) Bloodborne
(3) MSGV
Need to see some actual gameplay from No Man's Sky before it breaks onto that list.
Hmm...
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (having played every MGS game expect for Ac!d, Ac!d 2, and Portable Ops/Portable Ops+, I am dying to finally get to play this game. Ground Zeroes gave us a glimpse at where Kojima wanted to take the series for MGS V, and after watching the trailers and gameplay videos, I am hyped!)
Zelda Wii U (if it arrives next year, fingers crossed!)
Final Fantasy XV (originally Final Fantasy Versus XIII) (might not release in 2015, but I have faith in Square squeaking it in before Jan 1st, 2016 comes around)
