What the Staff does at Giantbomb

I've been on Giantbomb for a while now, and I haven't figured out exactly what everyone does there. The staff list is pretty long on the staff user list, but I only recognize a few of them (mostly the people on the Bombcast). Some don't have 'about me' pages, either.

Apart from Brad, Jeff, Vinny and Ryan the rest are either the site developers or people who work at Whiskey.

I just wanted to congratulate the web developers that build this great webpage, is just awesome!. I hope one day i can build something like this

Oh, so Whiskey Media is literally situated above GB? Makes sense. So, Brad, Jeff, Vinny and Ryan are all writers, and the site is maintained by Whiskey? I didn't realize Whiskey Media was so involved in GB.

Drew is part of Whiskey too?

Drew is on the GB team. And some of those staffers are not just the people upstairs, but running Comic Vine and Anime Vice.

Jeff, Ryan and Brad: Writers.

Okay, let's address this.

Jeff, Brad, and Ryan are writers for Giant Bomb. Vinny is the Video Editor for Giant Bomb and Drew is the Video intern for Giant Bomb. Giant Bomb itself is a part of Whiskey Media, a network of small, community-oriented websites developed and run with a small-team philosophy. David Snider and Coonce for example are engineers working for Whiskey in general, on the Whiskey Engine.

That pretty much sums it up. I was mostly wondering about all the rest of the people on the list- it didn't dawn upon me that they were actually Whiskey Media people.

I love how all these answers vary. I, myself, am not 100% sure about the jobs and roles of every member of the team. I do know that Jeff, Brad, Ryan and Vinny are all members of the staff and regularly write content for the site. Vinny also edits videos (and very well for that matter). Drew used to be an intern but is now a hired staff member, part of the team primarily doing video editing. Dave, coonce, Andy and others are part of Whiskey media and work behind the scenes making the site happen. Both Andy and Dave have written reviews in the past as well.

The way I understand it:

• Jeff Gerstmann, Ryan Davis & Brad Shoemaker= Writers
• Vinny Caravella =  Video editor + Writer

• Dave Snider = Site Designer + Writer
• Gman (Tony G... haven't got a clue how to spell his last name, but it begins with G) - Sister Site ComicVine writer, who occasionally does stuff on giant bomb.
• Shelby Bonnie - Big boss dude in charge of whiskey
• Mike Tatum - Financial manager dude
• Sean Coonce, Andy McCurdy, Ethan Lance, and probably some others that I'm forgetting - site engineers (they probably all have specialist area's that I don't know/can't remember)
