So today I went to Walmart before school so I could pick up that Prince of Persia HD Collection for PS3 without having to deal with the usual crowd of people going shopping. Digging through the $20 or under bin for Prince of Persia HD I found a copy of Yakuza 4 for $15 bucks so I ended up buying that too because at that price it might as well be free.
What was your last gaming related impulse buy?
I had 35 dollars worth of points on my XBL account. 15 from randomly buying them, and 20 from that cheap XBL Gold offer that happened last week. I've been debating getting Red Dead Redemption again for the 360, I already owned it for the PS3 but sold it awhile ago.
The temptation of easy access won over and I bought it off of Games on Demand, even though it was more expensive than a retail copy would have been.

It was when I bought Radiant Historia and suddenly decided I had to pre-order The Last Story as well.
You have my approval.

@bonorbitz Is that coming for PC first or is it launching on everything at the same time? TellTale games obviously run better on the PC but they have also done a bunch of Playstation Plus deals, I got Sam and Max season 3 for free and Back to the Future for $10 due to Plus.
I think it's launching on everything in April. I'm getting it for PC.
I bought Enslaved for $2 a couple months ago, got about half way through the game and stopped. I'll get back to it sooner or later, but i heard the ending is pretty shitty.
Kid Icarus. Watched a few minutes of the quick look at work, decided it looked awesome, so I bought it about 10 minutes later.
I too got Yakuza 4 for $15 just yesterday, Star Ocean TLH:Int for $18 and Valkyria Chronicles for $18
John Woo presents Stranglehold, $1.50, brand new back in December. Still haven't unwrapped it.
I personally liked the ending but I can see why people would hate it. I got it for $15 a couple months after it's release and loved it. Is it a perfect game? Absolutely not. It does however get you emotionally attached to the characters as their performances, in my opinion, are so good and there are only 3 main characters to focus on throughout the journey. I suggest you finish it, even if you don't end up liking it there are some unique aspects to it.I bought Enslaved for $2 a couple months ago, got about half way through the game and stopped. shitty? divisive okay but shitty? definitely not. it ends on an open, philosophical note that (ideally) makes you think what you'd have done.
my latest impulse buy were the Hitman and Deus Ex Collections on steam last weekend during the sale. I had all of them either on disc or on other platforms but they were so cheap that I felt like adding them to my steam library for convenience :) (well, the only "new" thing was the Deus Ex: HR DLC that I didn't have for the other version ... so that's a reasonable win at least^^)
Star Wars The Old Republic. Got in on the weekend trial and didn't want to stop lol. Its pretty fun. Not many people online though (at least on the server I am on), which is a bummer. Doesn't matter all that much though, because all I need is something to tide me over until Guild Wars 2 comes out.
@Bourbon_Warrior: I have one Japanese 3DS and now two English ones. The reason I forgot was because I lent the other English one to a friend, I thought he never gave it back to me. Also it's not being "spoiled". It's called having a job.

GOD DAMN MASS EFFECT 3 SPECTRE PACKS.
Also this.
I just pre-ordered Legend of Grimrock on GOG like 20 minutes ago. So... that?
I had 10$ i wasn't doing anything with so I bought Darksiders about a month ago. Still havent played it.
Last Fall/Winter I found Final Fantasy X and Dragon Quest 8 brand new for $20 together, bought it in a heartbeat...though I did damage the nice cardboard case for DQ8 when trying to peel off those stupid stickers. More recently I was browsing through a local Gamestop (yes, yes, sacrilege) when I found Metroid Other M for $10 which I grabbed on the spot. I know that game gets a lot of hate but I'm really enjoying it.

Rage for $7. Still feel kinda icky about it...
I bought Rage during boxing day up here in Canada... big mistake. At first I was wowed by the graphics and animation but that wore off when I got to the second main town. It's the same thing mission after mission and at a point I just got fed up. I never beat it and sold it before it dramatically dropped in price.
Oh excuse me I meant 7 bones. My apologies.@Sackmanjones said:
I bought shogun 2 for 7 bucks. Now THAT is basically freeThis but with pounds and not deer.
Syndicate, i knew i wouldn't have time to play much coop, but i bought it anyway.
Know i feel bad every time i look at the box...
I guess AC: Revelations. I wanted the game anyways, but the announcement of AC3 + 50% off AC:R on Steam got me really hyped to play some Assassin's Creed so I bought AC:R when I really shouldn't have spent that money on video games. Also I bought Plants vs. Zombies for like 2 bucks when it was on sale a while back just because that is basically free and I've always wanted to buy that to have a game to play for just a few minutes when I'm bored with nothing else to do.
