What will be your first 2009 game?

So, what will be the first game you buy this year? Or have you already bought one?
My first retail game will most likely be RE5 but that depends on how Bionic Commando turns out.
I might pick up the Maw tomorrow since its pay day. I will also pick up the Fable 2 DLC and the Fallout 3 DLC but those don't really count.

I wont be buying that many games theese first two quarters sicne im saving money to buy the Nokia N97(that will be something around $70-100, its like the iPhone but better in every way) that comes out sometime before this summer. And having recently bought a new car(Mitsubishi Lancer '08) i don't have much to spare between that, the phone, food and rent. So my gaming will have to suffer.

Just picked up Skate 2 and that would be my first game on 09'

Well I just ordered WOTLK, but my first 09 release will be Street Fighter 4 collectors.

So far i don't know.
Somthing for the PsP I think.

Probably F.E.A.R. 2 at this point.

Perhaps Street Fighter IV or the GTA DLC, because I consider that a game, somewhat. Depends if I'm sent anything to review before that.

Wow. I forgot that Killzone 2 was coming out next month. I wonder why.... could be that the first one was BAAAAAAD and that ill wait for the reviews. I sure hope that PS3 will finally get its great FPS. And no R:FOM and R2 weren't it. R:FOM suffers from what I call the PDZ effect. Meaning that it was the first shiny thing on the system and that being the only reason for the high scores.

skate 2, killzone 2, and afro samuri all have a chance for the first 09 game. i do know killzone 2 will be my first special edition game :)

I will buy Silent Hill V and HotD: Overkill next month or the month after. No other 09 games really interest me at the moment, and I'm still busy with Lost Odyssey, Mirror's Edge, Zack&Wiki and Chrono Trigger.

I got the new Prince of Persia last week, but for games with a 2009-release-date I will get Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box right when it's out, just to have it also on the PS3 ;-)

I just bought Burnout Paradise since Gamestop.com has it on sale for $20 new. It actually arrived today. As far as new 2009 games go, it will be GTA: The Lost and the Damned... if that even counts.

To buy, it would be Fear 2 or Dawn of War 2, I dunno when Fear 2 comes out, just know Feb. DoW2 comes out the 19th of Feb, so whichever is first.

I kind of want Skate 2,  but I can't completely decide to go get it.

I got a $50 gift card to GameCrazy for Christmas though, and I'm going to use it on Killzone 2.  So probably that.

Ghostbusters... or the Third Castlevania game for the DS.

Skate 2. I played it all last night and intend on playing it all tonight...possibly every night for the rest of 2009 (I played the original Skate for 24 hours straight once).

2009 is going to be a good year for games.

Should finish X-Men: The Movie: The Game today.
And then my banjo save got corrupt at 80 jiggies.  Love the game, but I just can't bring myself to play it.  It's awesome, but I can't restart that with other babies waiting for me.  So weird.
