For me it is Majesty 1 and 2.
All my friends refuse to play it because of "Sean Connery"
Whats the game you like, that your friends dont understand why
Just about all of the games I like, my friends haven't even heard of. They're the type of "gamers" that only play Halo 3, MW2, and Madden, all the while being totally oblivious to the existence of Team Fortress 2, SFIV, Quake, Fable and Battlefield (some of my favorite games). How can someone never even hear of something as iconic as Street Fighter? I don't know... My friends never cease to amaze me with their constantly-increasing levels of idiocy.
One of my friends bought Street Fighter IV on the day of release, because the guy at Gamestop said it was really good. Thinking it was gonna be a Soul Calibur-like mashfest, he booted it up and played some Arcade mode. Without even bothering to look at Ryu's move list, he decided that it was "the worst game ever" and sold it back. *facepalm*
On another occasion, I told some guys about Quake Live, and they tried it out. The next day, they all told me it was too fast-paced. *faceplam*
GTA 4. I say "for the first time ever in the series, I enjoy the missions." My friends come back with, "but they destroyed most of the fun, the cars handle like gran turismo, the character moves sluggish and turns weird, the developers removed all the crazy wacky feel from the past three, and its less fun to just goof off for a bit then pass the controller around." Then I say, "but the cars handle closer to real life because it has proper physics behind it, same with the characters, and instead of crazy wacky single player, we can all mess around in co-op." Then they say, "co-op would be great if we could play system link, but the developers make you log into live first, and live doesn't allow dial-up for multiplayer, so we can't play co-op at all." Then I pause for a couple of seconds and say, "damn, you're right."
According to my friend James, every game except Modern Warfare 2, Halo [insert number here], and Fallout 3 are gay. So I guess my answer is all of my games.
" Pokemon they always tell me its a kids game but if you get in to breeding and Ev training it gets very deep and veery rewarding when you can beat a mewtwo with a well trained Snorlax "I'd agree.
But I wouldn't consider EV training to be "deep". It's about as deep as grinding is in an MMO.
Badly needs replaced with a less broken system. It completely splinters the user base and gives some a totally unfair advantage by abusing a hidden stat calculating mechanic.
Gen V needs more skill/strategy, and less grinding.
"Street Fighter 4. Viva Pinata TIP "
If viva pinata didint have a tv show, Id probably be into that game. But it does.
Its like playing pokemon. You know its good, and fun. But playing it infront of your friends,
even if they dont know alot about videogames, they know that pokemons is a little kids
show.
