What's up with these lists?

I don't really get the lists page in your personal profile, because I tried to make a list of all my games. But I only could make a title it seems. I typed in "My Games" in the blank field and then I wanted to fill in that list, but couldn't. So I'm thinking it's probably not the point of the lists page, but then I don't know what this feature actually does.
