I got 7:30 but no screens yet, gimme sec.
Whats Your Best L4D Survival Time (Pics or it didn't happen)
That was in the sewer one where you would usually lower the floodgates - we ran into the corner opposite where the health is piled (where the flaming switch is after you pull it) and stayed crouched to avoid getting dragged off used our pistols only for everything, and when a tank spawned - it's hard to explain, but it was in the pipe on the first floor of the opposite wall so you could fill it with pistol until ig cloimbed up, and by then you could switch to main and nail it before it did damage.
Using this method we only had to grab health a couple of times, and didnt need to get any ammo at all for the whole 12 mins - and whenever we did we just baited JFM :P
"Wow, Omega that is pretty epic. Great job!"Thanks :) though to be fair, that was more luck, judgement, cheese on cracker binge fuelled rage and a whole bag of swearing than actual judgement :)
"What the-Omega, the next time you and Jecrell are together, I'm jumping on and taking advantage. I'm gonna get a much better time than I would otherwise."Its a date ;)
I got 10:50 on the no mercy hospital level, just camped in the room with one door and a vent at the back of it. One guy in each courner which took the tanks down super quick. Ammo was just outside the room on the left. Sadly my friend on steam has the pic and he is not online atm so I cant prove it :(
"OmegaPirate said:Dude what kind of girl were YOU with =o?"RHCPfan24 said:Sounds like Mile High Club, honestly, lol.""Wow, Omega that is pretty epic. God dammit zebadee! dont show my horrible time!! blur it out
I can't prove this atm but I golded 3 maps on my first try at survival mode last night with some friends. The long street from Death Toll was probably the easiest - just stood with our backs against the fence at the far end so plenty of time to take out everything in front and there was never enough zombies to trouble us from behind too much. My time on that was 12 minutes something (I'll have to take some screenshots soon). Golded the warehouse part of Blood Harvest by standing on the pile of boxes against one wall. The hardest one for gold so far which took ages last night was the church part of Death Toll. We stood in the corner round the back of the church which funnels most of the zombies. Just have to be aware of where the tanks coming from, particularly when over the wall and then time weapon runs in the lulls.
Impressed with OmegaPirate's success in the sewers. Didn't manage that one after many tries. Interesting idea of just using pistols with no ammo runs.
I got almost 11 mins on No Mercy generator room level on the 360 version with some friends. On steam though I haven't attemped survival, only been playing VS- Yet one of my friends(who I figured would have it rather quick) does indeed already have the achievement to get gold on every single level legit.
I've got 7:56 on Xbox 360 with three of my buddies. Bitch is that I've got the picture on my phone, but I can't transfer pics from my phone onto a computer. It pisses me right off. Makes me wish I had a camera so I could take a picture of the picture.
We did it on The Generator Room on No Mercy. We lay a wall of fire down the middle of the generator room with two gas tanks and a molotov. At the 30 second mark, we run for the lifting door and go upstairs. We then use the vending machine to sometimes glitch out the Tank when he climbs on top. Use gas tanks and molotovs, plus a mixture of pistols and such (2 of us use shotties, 2 of us use assault rifles). They pick off zombies and kill the tank while I take out any possible Smokers. At 3:30, we run for the big hole and go down to the "garage" area. From there, we work in corners and try to fend them off the best we can.
