FFX: Best goddamn soundtrack ever. 'Yuna's Theme' and 'To Zanarkand' are simply amazing. Majora's Mask: Do I need to explain? Grand Theft Auto: Vice City: Great compilation of terrific classics.
I would go for Brawl, but that is not an original sountrack. So I pick Super Mario Galaxy, followed by the Final Fantasy games, Banjo-Tooie and Wind Waker.
Final Fantasy VI's soundtrack represents the pinnacle of Uematsu's career for me. I love the way every piece feels like a small piece of a musical patchwork quilt, with all the leitmotifs tying everything together. The ending theme is sublime.
