When did Giant Bomb Start?

For anyone who knows when giant bomb first came on the internet that would be great... im just curious:P

The site was open for registration July 21, 2008. Some months before that there was the blog (i cant recall its name...)

Aww Giantbomb was born in the same month i was .  It's like my bastard brother that stole all the goodies and became famous.

How To Build a Bomb was a video feature documenting the process of building the site you see today. The blog itself was called Giant Bomb. And before that the two of them just had personal blogs.
Jeff appeared on Ryan's Arrow Pointing Down podcast, which later became the Bombcast.
