Which one to get?

Hello duders! I'm planning on pre-ordering Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, and gamestop and amazon both have their own exclusive pre-order bonus offer, with Gamestop offering a steelbook and Amazon offering an exclusive familiar (kind of like a pokemon?) that isn't available in the Japanese version of the game. And then for some reason I checked if Walmart has the game for pre-order, and they have it for $51.51.

So, my question is: Where should I pre-order it from, and should I just skip on a pre-order bonus and get it for a few dollars less?

Amazon is offering this bird thing

Gamestop will have this ^ as the bonus. Also, for those of you who have gotten steelbooks with games: Does it come with this and the regualr case, or is it just the steelbook?

Thank You!

Always be steelbook.

@ManU_Fan10ne: I would pre order it at gamestop. The steelbooks are always good.

Steelbooks are niiiicee. My Copy of Lords of Shadow is a steelbook. There is no regular case inside.

I was leaning toward the steelbook purely because it is solid and something I can hold.

I always go for the cheap version of things, since I find that preorder bric-a-brac just wastes space. But the steelbook looks cool (reminds me of my copy of FFXII), and something in-game might have some value. That said, I'd still go for the almost-10-dollar discount, with the steelbook case in 2nd.

Always go for the steelbook. I find exclusive in-game content usually becomes available for everyone else sooner or later anyway.

Your steelbook will stand out in the gaming shelf if there's no regular case inside and if you plan on just putting the steelbook away somewhere, then there's no point. I don't think a steelbook is the way to go.

Save the money and buy the normal edition. Steelbooks only mess up your shelves and in-game stuff is usually not that great. And judging from some previews you should maybe wait for the reviews to come out before spending your money.

Steelbook all the way.

Steelbook cases stick out on your shelf like a sore thumb.

I would buy it at Wal-Mart. I'm not a collector, so steel books are useless to me.

Steelbooks are never not a waste of money. Go the walmart route unless you feel that bird thing is worth the extra 9~ bucks.

Steelbook buddy! Who cares about a bird thingy?

Steelbook will last you a lot longer than the ingame pet. I guarantee it.

I don't like steal books because they don't match the rest of my games. I say save the money.

This. After you're done with the game, why would you care for an in-game pet? At least you can keep the case after you've stopped playing.
