Which should I get?

You should get the one with the thing in it.

I need a new DS game.  Well, neither of these are new, but I love strategy games.  I've already played FF Tactics A2, so these seemed like the next best options.  The game reviews on sites are close enough to warrant a vote from the community.  What say you Giant Bombers?

aaaa dunno.

Depends on what style and game setting you want to play in. Personally I'd choose Fire Emblem because I like the way hero characters work in that game.
 
But to be fair I haven't played either series since the GBA.

They're pretty much the same thing, except Fire Emblem lets you grow your characters and advance them into different classes. So, it's more like a Strategy RPG. If that's your thing, then go with Fire Emblem.

I'd definitely go for Advance Wars. I had a lot of fun with that game.

I prefer Fire Emblem to Advance Wars. Never really got into it.

Dude... Advance Dual Strike is in my top 5 DS games.... which means you should totally get it.
