Whiskey Media Looking for Data Interns

Whiskey Media is looking for a data intern to produce content on a television/movie wiki website. Applicant must be enthusiastic about the industry and motivated to write biographies, synopses, summaries, etc. on a wide range of film/television related content. 

Requirements: 
Applicant must be able to commute to our Sausalito office. 
Full work day, 9-5, perhaps longer hours as the site launch date arrives. 
In-depth knowledge of current/upcoming films & television shows. 
Understanding of web-based video offerings. 
Exemplary writing skills. Ability to be extremely concise or thorough, depending on the content. 

What You Will Gain: 
Knowledge in how a Whiskey-powered site is born. 
Valuable experience in a young social publishing company. 

Potential for full-time employment based on performance and needs.

I don't meet any of the requirements, but what you guys are doing sounds cool.

I live in Texas.  This absolutely gives me incentive to move to California.  I guarantee that I would be perfect for this job, and I'm pretty sure that RHCPfan24 would be a shoe-in.

I would actually love to do this......if I didn't have SATs, midterms, school play and other different types of practice in the next 2 and a half months. Also, and most importantly, I live all the way here in New Jersey. Blah. Still, seeing everyone recommend me is very nice, brightens my day :)

A TV & Movie version of GB? I can see it now! Organizing movie nights, making concept pages for styles of film making, ah I cannot wait! I look forward to the new site and maybe even organizing the community like the way I have on this site.

But it's a cursed winter, and I'm stuck in MARYLAND: State of DOOM.

So I'm not the only one who thought Whiskey Media should make a move/t.v. site. Sadly, I don't qualify for that job at all.

I agree, RHCPfan24 should get this job. That would be awesome.

I think minimum wage in Florida is 7-8 dollars an hour. It sucks where I live. 10 dollars an hour is pretty good but I'm not a big movie person, so meh.

$10 an hour isn't enough to live on in this area...it's the minimum wage in San Francisco, or close to it. It'll have to be someone who either has family or friends who live out here that they can stay with, or someone who is already in the area going to college or something and has their living situation arranged. "

This is the right person for the job.

Why is everybody constantly suggesting a guy who doesn't live anywhere near it. He's already expressed he can't do it.

I live really close, but $10/hr is tough to survive on. I've had a couple of other internships and the lowest paying one was $18/hr. Like people have said, unless you can split rent or live with your folks, this isn't an option. Gratz to whoever can pull it off, though.

I would probs apply for this except that i live in Australia. That may create problems... 

In my country $240 (US dollars) per month is the minimum salary.. and not for interns, interns are not paid here. And in 2006 the minimum salary was $140 dollars... pretty lame don´t you think? And a new PS3 game here costs $100 because the import taxes. ha 
So $10 per hour for an intern doesn't sound that bad after all.

Damn.  The only requirement I don't meet is being anywhere near Sausalito.  I'm really going to need to transfer out to a California university at some point...
