Who Do You Think Is The Most Distinctive/Your Fave Voice Actor?

Voice actors in video games are more often than not terrible! Well, usually anyway. In my opinion. Whatever. Feel free to disagree.

Anyway, some voice actors are sometimes quite good, and even if they're not good, they have a recognisable voice. I'm sure a few names spring to mind. These voice actors are UNDER RATED because, while our characters remain totally fictional, they give them a semblance of human life. Almost as if characters without good voice actors are zombies.

So anyway, without further ado I pose the question to you (I'm a poet and I didn't know it) -- who do you think has the most distinctive voice in video games/who is your favourite voice actor?

There are lots of really good ones I can think off the top of my head but I'm going to get right in there with my favourite/also who I think is the most distinctive.

As a little easy game to prove my point on how distinctive she is I'm not going to tell you her name either.

Mine is the dude who plays Nathan Drake and the "Prince" in Prince of Persia (2008). He's awesome, a guy at Sony once called him "an affordable Harrison Ford".

Well, no one said it yet, but John DiMaggio would be my pick. Not only has he done the "NIIIIICE" voice work for Marcus Fenix, but he was also Bender from Futurama as well as one of the announcers from Madworld. He's a very talented, well-rounded actor.

EDIT - Oh shit, I forgot about my real favorite voice actor: Keith David. This badass has been in great movies like There's Something About Mary, The Thing, and Platoon, as well as voicing The Arbiter in the Halo series, Captain Anderson in Mass Effect, Julius in Saints Row, and the Cat in Coraline, even if that is a movie, not a game.

It has to be David Hayter and his trademark growl.

The Nathan Drake dude is pretty good too. I also have to applaude Robin Atkin Downes who did the voice of Travis Touchdown, and apparently quite a few roles here and there like the prince in Pop: Warrior Within and other stuff in Gears, Halo 2, killer7 and more. The dialogue in NMH was one of the best things about that game.

Ellen McLain, just because she was GLaDOS in Portal.

Does Richard Attenborough count?

I'm going to have to say Bruce Campbell, who I haven't heard since one of the early Spiderman games but I instantly knew it was him. Also Keith David, who seems to be used regularly in games as of late.

David Hayter, and the Bioshock-actors.

Ron Perlman is one of my favourites. The Fallout 1 and 2 intros always gives me goosebumps.

Tony Jay, the dude who voiced the elder god from the Legacy of Kain series and Magneto in X-Men Legends. He was also in some TV shows and movies throughout the years.

You know who's a great voice actor? The guy that's in all those Pixar movies (John Ratzenberger), his contributions are always classic.

I really like Phil LaMarr in most things he's done. Especially as Vamp in the Metal Gear series.

Stephen Fry has done a bit of voice work recently, and he has a really distinctive and charming voice.

I could never finish Killer7. The game was way too confusing, I never had the patience for it."

Keifer Sutherland and David Hayter. 

David Hayter seems like the obvious choice for me.  John DiMaggio has also done some good work.
