Ryan is the obvious answer.

Who is the epitome of video game podcast hosts?
Sorry Giant Bomb but you can't beat Garnet Lee. He's just way more smooth and organised than Ryan is while still being a funny and entertaining guy.
How anybody can not vote for "Dad" befuddles me

Geez, you guys had me searchin' for this shit, thinking it was current; wondering why it's listing on iTunes had only 7 episodes, no Jeff Green was sub-labeled as "Lan Party" and hadn't had a new episode since 2008. Apparently it was one of the 1UP network shows. Anyways, I found the archive. :P

The old GFW podcast with the whole "brodeo" or whatever they called themselves was pretty epic at times and ignited a life long love for my favorite podcast persona - Anthony Gallegos. I'll listen to anything he's a part of.
So that's my answer - Anthony Gallegos. I don't see the significance of rating "hosts" specifically. What makes Ryan more of a host of the Bombcast than Jeff or Brad apart from saying "It is tuesday and you're listening to the Giant Bombcast." every week?
Of course the highest ranking is Ryan Davis.
Thats like going to Infinity Ward and asking if they or Treyarch makes a better CoD.
I find Garnett to be incredibly annoying, he comes off as super sleazy (to me). He was fine back with 1up yours when he had a counterbalance.
Garnett runs a good show and is my favourite host of a regularly updated show, however Robert Ashley's A Life Well Wasted is the best hosted show on the internet. Can't wait for the new episode tomorrow.
I used to really like Rebel FM until recently, they used to rip on IGN a ton and now that Arthur and Anthony are with IGN its a complete turn around. I find them very
annoying now and kind of full of themselves not to mention the constant mentions about their cat get annoying. Tylor is the best part of that podcast.

It's hard to put my finger on exactly why, but there's something about how Garnett runs a show that I really like.
It's like deciding between a solo act, or an ensemble cast. I listen to the Bombcast for the interaction between Ryan, Jeff, Vinny and Brad (and sometimes Dave). If one or two of them are missing, it just doesn't feel right. I listen to Garnett's damn shows more for him than the rest of the people with him. If one of his regulars is gone, I don't miss it so much as when one fo the bombcast crew is missing.
That's a good list and it was a difficult choice, but I went with Jeff Green. As odd and creepy as this sounds, when I hear him on a podcast I just know what follows will make me feel good. Green always comes with some funny stories. I started listening to the EA podcast just for him even though I know it's a corporate 'cast. He also sometimes shows up on other podcasts. Most recently, the E3 edition of the Geekbox. GFW Radio is still the greatest podcast ever. The perfect storm of personalities.
I'd say that Garnett and Ryan are about equal, although Garnett might edge him out slightly in my mind. CheapyD is good, too but I prefer Wombat on that show.
You are going to love GFW Radio. It's pure gold." @masterpaperlink said:

NOTE: I wanted to add Vinny and Rich but I kept it to currently active hosts. Let it be known, though, that I think Vinny was an exceptional podcast host. Rich too.
