 Snap into a survey!
Audience surveys are, admittedly, kind of lame. But they're also a totally necessary component of doing business online like we do. The short version of all this is that we'd really like to know more about the people who read our site. So we've tossed around 24 questions into what has to be the most ghetto-looking survey tool I've ever seen. And now we'd like you to answer it.

Why are we doing this? Well, it's partially because we thought it'd be funny to have an audience survey with a bunch of really dumb questions in it. But it's mostly because the more we know about you, the better we can serve you. Between our Whiskey Media posse preparing to launch new sites and our representatives heading out into the world, preaching the gospel of Giant Bomb, knowing more about you helps us all do stuff more effectively.

There's also an advertising angle, obviously. The main reason most sites and magazines do surveys like this is because knowing more about the people reading the site helps you sell more effective ads. We really don't want to cover the site in garbage ads that no one could possibly be interested in. I'm guessing that you'd rather we didn't do that, too. By answering this survey, we'll be able to tell advertisers what sort of people read the site, and that'll help us get ads that aren't the stupid, flashy nonsense that you see everywhere else. Also, I should really point out that we don't keep your personal information during any part of this process.

However, there's a space for your e-mail address at the bottom of the survey. If you'd like, you can feed us that address. We'll select some percentage of respondents and send them one of our few remaining Giant Bomb logo T-shirts. We didn't make very many of these, and we're almost out, so this might be one of your last chances to get one.

If that's not enough to get you to blaze through a few questions about your Communist tendencies, your love of pornography, and how many games you've played, well, I don't know what is. Thanks for hearing me out, either way.

So take the Giant Bomb Audience Survey! Passionate questions for passionate people!

No; Giant Bomb thought your answers were so stupid, it gave you a blank page and told you to do it again :P.

Same! I had to backspace all of them!

But yes, best survey ever! I answered 100% truthfully, which made it even more fun!

I will do anything for Giant Bomb.

Are horsies pretty? Heck Yes! I'd be interested to see how many people answered for each number for "porn."

#19 Posted by Semition (731 posts) -

It's a really tough choice between having sex while playing video games and stopping time.

I heard about Giant Bomb on the last 1up Yours holiday special they were on.  Hey jeff, are your pants still wet?

#25 Posted by Godlovesugly (276 posts) -

If it seems to refresh...see how it moves you up the page?
It wants you to fix something you did wrong
"Please enter a positive number." for example.

#26 Posted by Bigandtasty (3203 posts) -

#27 Posted by Blair (2525 posts) -

If you stop time you can have sex without people knowing it.

haha that's exactly why i choose stopping time. You can have so much fun.
#34 Posted by sopranosfan (1935 posts) -

1 complaint about the survey Question 9 SHOULD combine answer 3 and 5 and have an answer of having sex while playing video games while in the backseat with Jeff and Ryan.......not that I would choose that......stop looking at me.

#35 Posted by TheYear20XX (426 posts) -

I love surveys.

#36 Posted by DazzHardy (782 posts) -

Giving me text boxes to enter numbers was probably a bad idea >_>

#37 Edited by Potter9156 (943 posts) -

Hmm, yes, I will do this survey for a(maybe fake) T-shirt.

Sweet Jesus, Dave has too put on a tutu now.

#40 Posted by Tuggah (1073 posts) -
@Semition: stopping time can be bad. If you still age while time is stopped, you would be much older than you should.
#41 Posted by killawogg (222 posts) -

#49 Posted by Whizbang (105 posts) -

The "how long have you" field doesn't accept decimals, so apparently everyone at Giant Bomb spends much longer brushing their teeth than I do.

#50 Posted by Warfare (1641 posts) -

Ok did it.
