How the hell do people even find these 4+ year old threads to necro?
And they're all newly created accounts every single time.
My guess is that the threads show up when someone does a google search. Like "attractive video game characters" might pop up this thread, and then someone would get inspired to post in it.
Honestly, there aren't many great female characters in video games. That's not to say that there are many great male ones, either, but I can't say that I've come across more than a handful of female characters that have good, likable, believable personalities that I'd want to hang around, or even that I want to see more of on-screen (as in, more games starring the lady in question). It's definitely gotten better since 2008, but not by much.
Also, I'm a totally straight dude that has a record of disliking the Uncharted games.

Are you saying that all of Persona 3's characters were pretty believable and likable? I mean, they were all right, but if there's one thing that annoys me about Persona 3 and 4, it's that everyone has an issue. It's not as big of a problem as it sounds, but in Persona 5, I'd like to go on a social link where the guy or girl in question is funny and interesting and maybe gets my character into trouble or fights or something. At least no more parental issues.
So what I'm saying is that everybody should just be Chie.
