A simple question. Knowing what we know as of today, which of the new devices shown at this year's E3 do you see yourself purchasing next year or reasonably soon there after? Do you like the PS Vita and it's console on-the-go technology? Or, are you taken by Nintendo's new Wii U with its inter-connectivity? Of course, there is the possibility that neither appeal to you and you're satisfied with the status quo. I know, I know...it's all about the games, but for today, at least, let's use our imaginations and personal biases and just decide one way or the other.
As for me, I am probably a bit more interested in the PS Vita because I'd like a replacement for my aging DS Lite. The Wii U looks to be a competent platform that places it on equal footing with the Xbox 360 and PS3. Maybe the specs will prove that it's even better, I don't know those answers just yet. I do think it's a nice upgrade for Wii owners who are looking to play games with higher graphical fidelity. Although, for some reason, Nintendo's first party examples during their presentation seemed awfully archaic which prompted a lot of confusion. Anyway, I like the Wii U, but I'm not sure I need one since I have a 360 and PS3 already. Perhaps by next year, Nintendo will convince me otherwise, but until then, my interest remain with the PSV.
EDIT: Heh-heh, I forgot "Both" because I didn't realize there were so many "spoiled rich kids" among our populace.
