I have both of them in my Steam library waiting to be played, but I don't know which one I should play first. Both of them look pretty amazing to be honest, and I can't make up my mind. Which of them do you recommend the most?

I didn't particularly enjoy Deus Ex much at all. I played for around 10 hours or so (I think), and basically thought "Yup, I've seen enough of this."
The WItcher 2, however, I'd rank up there with the all time greats. It has an incredibly immersive world, solid combat, decent writing and it looks like the tits.
Of course, opinions.
I'd rather play Witcher 2. I have little interest in Deus Ex.
I haven't played The Witcher 2, but I have played The Witcher 1, and while that game is good, I would pick Deus Ex HR over it if I had to choose between the two.
It's worth keeping in mind that Deus Ex HR isn't without its problems, but it's still a good game.
@believer258: That isn't really a fair comparison; The Witcher 1 and the Witcher 2 are drastically different experiences. The Witcher 2's combat is much more streamlined, the dialouge and voice acting are much improved, and its graphics are some of the best in the industry. As much as I enjoyed Deus Ex Hr, and while I would rate it above the original Witcher, The Witcher 2 is one of the best games I have ever played, so It's my pick.
That said, both are amazing games, and if you intend to play both of them, I don't think it really matters which you play first.
The Witcher 2 is a much more engaging game. I enjoyed it a lot, even more so than Skyrim. I didn't even bother finishing Deus Ex.
Witcher 2 is not an experience I enjoyed at all, I would rather play Deus Ex.
Deus Ex for sure. Witcher 2 is plagued with a really horrible UI (PC version), gamepad support that is kinda broken (PC version), and the pacing sucks. I actually even beat Witcher 1 before it and can't make sense of the story. The bright side of Witcher 2 is that its an amazing looking game and you'll be constantly amazed by how it looks.
Edit: I should say the reason why gamepad support is a bad thing is because the UI is obviously designed for it. And even though it is it's still a horrible UI.
Witcher 2 for me, never really liked the Deus Ex games as much as other people for some reason... although I do own all the games.
Deus Ex is good (bit rough in certain aspects); The Witcher 2 is great.
I have yet to play a significant amount of The Witcher 2, but it already seems a lot better than the first one. Deus Ex HR is fantastic... assuming you put points into the typhoon and spam that during the otherwise abysmal boss fights. It's also, I imagine, significantly shorter. So do that one first.

Eh, well, I don't know much about The Witcher 2.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of my favorite games. It's much shorter than Witcher 2, so I would play it first.
Oh man, the two greatest games I've played since Crysis, oh man you can't make me pick that's uncalled for..
Tough choice. Deus Ex: HR is easier to burn through. The Witcher 2 is also a fairly good experience. Trust your gut.
