Would You Buy a PSP Go?

All we know so far is that they took my D-pad and buttons and putton them under the screen. I have a PSP slim already, and even if they make UMD obsolete I don't care. Oh, and if they did, they sure as fuck better make all the PSP games people own free for them to download else Sony is fucked.

After the complete lack of use my 2 PSP have had, the answer is a big fat NO.  It would take a massive miracle for me to be interested.

Not if they're planning on removing the umd drive to make it a download only system. It would be a nice "fuck you" to everyone who has actually supported the PSP to this point, though.

I don't mobile game anymore, and when I actually do my phone works fine for gaming.

I'm not sure, I would if the hardware was improved so that the graphical quality would increase.

I am strongly against a pure download service. I don't mind XBLA and PSN games but completely changing the format to digital distribution doesn't sit right with me. I like having the comfort of a game disc and box to show me that I own something.

No, I want a second nub and everything I've heard recently leads me to believe that won't be coming.  I want a PSP that offers more than what I can already get from a DS, and by that I mean, I want a console like experience on a handheld platform.  But that isn't going to happen with this iteration of the PSP, so I'll wait for something meets my desires.  Maybe one day they Sony will completely relaunch the brand and then I'll get one.

The real question is, those of us who can afford to, can we resist not buying it?

If it had a second analog I might consider it. Oh, and the analogs need to have movement. Even the single one on the current PSPs felt lacking because they were... flat.

I've bought two other incarnations. If there's a way to get some of my current games, and some of the legacy stuff onto the Go! without paying for them all over again, then yes.

Yes, as long as its new psp.. not like ds lite to dsi. a whole new psp you know with its own games and things >_> also if it played psp1 games.

Yes, the rumors for the PSP Go! are that Sony is going to a completely digital distribution model. For a long time in Japan they have been releasing games for purchase on the PSN at the same time as their release on UMD. The rumors are that they are taking things to an even higher level here in the US with the PSP Go!.
