As long as they would have the same prices at other retailers sure. Anything to keep away from Gamestop.

The conflict of interest would come from the fact that they'd be cannibalizing the sales generating by the Luchadeals system.
 
However, selling a game you also critiqued is not necessarily indicative of a conflict of interest. Whether they give 5 stars to games that don't deserve it, or ask people to buy games to which they give 1 star, their reputation could be understood as a sociological market value, and either inflating the ratings of their games, or promoting games they don't like would simply diminish that market value, and undermine their own interests, not necessarily the users'.

I'm not going to buy any games from GB because I doubt they'd be any cheaper than anywhere else.  I might as well go to Wal Mart if that's the case.

I was just trying to illustrate that the phrase "conflict of interests" is thrown around far too loosely.

I await the day we see unlicensed "Giant Bomb" stores, like those shady "GameSpot" stores I've heard about.

they would be the same game you could get anywhere but the boxart and back of box description was all redone by the giant bomb staff

If they sold signed copies of Big Rigs, signed by Alex than yeah sure.

Well, that sounds like a better way to support them than with silly ad revenue, and it would be convenient, since I do a ton of my video-game shopping online anyways. So a firm "mebbe?"

No, every time i have bought ANYTHING online , other then books from amazon.ca, i have been screwed over with shipping, taxes or some magical charge that comes out of nowhere. So i gave up on shopping online.
