i just noticed this after posting a comment on a thread. wtf is it?

This sounds like bullshit to me.

There are also a few places on the site that I've just found that aren't displaying a corresponding user's avatar. As of now, both the avatar next to a poll (signifying the poll's creator) and the avatar of the user sending you a PM. Just has the green box for "Online Now," though it's smaller than it should be so the text almost spills off of either side of the green box.
