Xbox 360 exclusives vs. PS3 exclusives

Found two links after seeing a couple of members in the "Does the PS3 Satisfy you?" topics talking about 360 - PS3 exclusives comparison.

Well here we have it, or as close to it as possible, through wikipedia. After glancing, I think this includes unreleased games as Uncharted 2 stood out in the PS3 list. Furthermore, it seems to include PSN/XBLA games in there too.

• PS3 - 136 exclusives
• Xbox 360 - 167 exclusives

Well damn, I had no idea that the two companies are so close on exclusive titles...this amazes me for some reason!

Two things-

Yeah going back through I noticed that A. there are a shit load of games I dont care about, and B. The ones I do care about I have...Oh well, live and learn then get HUGGS!

It looks like most of those titles are downloadable trash, on both sides. I think a more interesting stat is how many of each platform's top exclusive games are quality. Let's do this by checking the lowest average review score of each platform's top 10 exclusive games.

For 360, the 10th ranked exclusive is 'Portal: Still Alive', with a score of 88.4% .
On PS3, it's 'Valkyria Chronicles', at 87.13%.

So there isn't too much of a difference there either.

So basically they both have great games? Who would have thought.

I have my own opinions but at the end of the day does this thread need to be discussed?

I don't really know what i like better. i like xbox for gears 2 and ps3 for metal gear soild. Maybe i'm just a game fan??  Yeah xbox.... :)

First, they really gave Gran Turismo 5 three spots?

Nice I was actually gonna look this up myself. only 40 or so titles difference with a year apart for the systems thats not bad.

The most important point is that the Xbox 360 is in the Exclusives Lead & hopefully it'll stay that way.

Are you fucking serious?  Dude, an exclusive game doesnt mean shit if it sucks balls.  Got to list more than just numbers.  And also its not about if Halo is better than Killzone or anything like that, just which has more exclusive good games.

It's really about the combined game library, not exclusives.
Because talking about things exclusively, Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, etc. don't become considered.  They're obviously worth it.
