Hey guys whats up,
I just got some 1600 Microsoft points and was wondering what arcade games should I get (cant get games on demand cause of pointless country restrictions). I tried both Braid and Limbo demos but didn't like the gameplay much as I'm not much of a platforming guy, also i was looking at Beyond Good and Evil HD since I heard it was good but I'm not sure on it, which games would you guys recommend?

Toy Soldiers

That new street fighter game is all the rave at the moment. You don't like platforming, so that rules out a lot of the good shit on XBLA.

Bastion, duder, Bastion all the fucking way!

Seriously though, I loved it and it's well worth the 1200 points.

@elsuperdonut I'd actually be open to some platforming games, just mixed with other gameplay elements

Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes

My three favorite XBLA games (all 1200 ms points)

  1. Bastion
  2. Super Meat Boy
  3. Shadow Complex

In that case I'd highly recommend Castle Crashers. It like a beat 'em up with rpg elements, lots of fun to be had. Also, as others and more will say, Bastion.

Any people still play Battlefield 1943? And Bastion is looking good from the reviews I'm reading. @Kyreo wtf is Third Strike?

Braid and Limbo aren't really platformers, but whatever.

I would recommend Castle Crashers.

Btw, what was it about LIMBO that you weren't getting into? That game was fantastic. I NEED TO KNOW.

If you like the "Metroidvania" style at all, Shadow Complex is absolutely amazing. There's a good reason Giant Bomb gave it an Xbox Game of the Year award.

Bastion is very, very good.

Symphony of the Night is the best version of the port to get, in my opinion.

Magic: The Gathering 2012 is an amazing value if you like MTG at all (10 decks to mess around with for $10, and decent AI to face.)

Third strike and all that DLC for a decade old game.

Capcom isn't ripping anyone off!

@elsuperdonut Probably wasn't in the mood such a dark game, I'll probably check it out later.
