Sooooooo we know the marginal differences between the two systems and I would like to know if there are other early adopters like myself. I value the PS4's focus on games and I refuse to buy a system that includes a camera. But enough about me I would like to hear the communities opinion!! Thanks!

Why would you refuse to buy something that includes a camera? Even if you aren't into that device you can just not use it. Regardless, we have such little information on both systems at this point.

@epicsteve: The Kinect is needed to use the Xbox though.

@rpoland123: PS4 has a camera also, although it is optional.

This threads already been made. But PS4.

I was surprised when I heard the reports about this. Yup - the One requires the camera (which is fucking massive and most likely won't sit straight on my 32" TV) to be connected in order to operate.

BUT that didn't really effect my decision here. I was tossing up between getting both systems or just the PS4, and it looks like MS has saved me a lot of money.

That said, they still have E3 to undo the damage they did today - and with all the whispers surrounding that system before today's reveal, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a good showing.

For now: Only PS4.

@rpoland123: There are already a number of threads like this, but I would say it's too early to tell. Wait for E3 once they have announced everything.

I'm leaning toward the PS4 right now, but E3 will be the real story.

There's already a thread on this here. Let's keep the discussion in one place.
