I live in an area where gamestop is basically the only B&M game retailer, and it's horrid. Company policy is one thing (regarding buy-back prices and such) but they really do seem hell-bent on hiring and promoting the worst among us. Every time I go there it's a different totally made up factoid about a console or game that is blatantly untrue, or some horribly misguided/untrue new "company policy" that they spout to me as a reason to be a pain.
It's sad that anyone has to lose their jobs, but I shed no tears over anyone who sleeps at night after selling extended warranties on copies of Wii Shovelware Party to some clueless mom.
