Yet another help me decide what to play, recent release edition (PS4).

On that list, probably Deus Ex or XCOM II. No Man's Sky is terrible and I thought Alex's review of Mafia III was super generous. I haven't played the others.

I enjoyed both Rise of the Tomb Raider and Deus Ex so either is a recommendation from me. I haven't played any of the others but Mafia 3 seems somewhat divisive and all I hear on No Man's Sky seems to be bad

Play No Man's Sky first. It'll take you like 2 hours to see everything the game has to offer then you can move on.

Of those I'd go with Rise of the Tomb Raider, or Deus Ex and Mafia 3 after that depending on what you want. Tomb Raider looks pretty good though.

I'd say play XCOM 2 concurrently with any of those to be honest.

no man's sky, it is the last game you will ever need.

Rise of the Tomb Raider. Although it's not as focused as the first game, it's really well made and a ton of fun. If it's the complete PS4 version, even better.

I'm honestly surprised Tomb Raider is in the lead, and by such a large margin.

Dude! Stop buying so many games if you need to make polls asking which one you want to play! It makes it seem like you don't really want to play any :P

Anyway, play Tomb Raider.

@paulmako: I just haven't had time, but now I do. And I wanted to know what the community thought was the best of the bunch.

It's by far the best game on your list.

Tomb Raider is more of the last game (lots more, way more than the reboot) with plenty of mechanical density to get into and stunning set pieces. But don't expect even the same character building as the last game (I mean, this game won awards for the story but wow, hard to go into all the ways it fails without totally spoiling some reveals that should surprise no one and yet are played as shocking). It's a really good game, shame about the cut-scenes.

Definitely get into Mafia 3 and join the new hotness right now, but head back for Lara once you're done.

Deus Ex is really really fun. It had good hooks for me so I'd say that. Xcom 2 is a super close second,

Tomb Raider is gorgeous and really improves on the first, but I'd wait until it's on sale or goes down in price.

I would definitely play Tomb Raider first! I thought it was excellent ^_^ with that said, I overall liked mafia III. Eveb though it has its sort comings, I felt it was decent, it has alot of style and the presentation is great :D I also need to finish deus ex and thought that no mans sky was rather boring. I haven't played xcom 2 yet, so I don't have an opinion on that one yet. Hope this helps :)

I picked No Man's Sky because it's the worst game on the list.

I like Mafia 3 and think it runs pretty well on PS4
