Mass Effect set a new standard in terms of console RPG's and Infinity Ward has yet to disappoint on its titles. The Old Republic MMO is a hot title to me simply because of the people behind it. After the debacle of SWG, it's good to see Star Wars in the exceedingly capable hands of Bioware :)
Well lets see, since I already own Arkham. I'll go with my wanted upcoming games for 2009, as there are tons in 2010 and picking 3 would be impossible.
Dragon Age Origins (PC) Modern Warfare 2 (PC) Uncharted 2 (PS3)
*Bonus* Demon's Souls - I already own an import copy, but a US version with Soundtrack, Artbook, Guide, etc looks nice :p
However there are definitely more that I am going to buy like NHL10, Alpha Protocol, etc. I think 9/15 i might end up buying 3 games alone; NHL10, WET and MUA2. Fortunately i have a job still and I can buy games when they come out, however I won't be doing what I did last year around this time and buy things and never open them *Valkyria Chronicles, GTA4, Prince of Persia* all come to my mind.
It occurred to me while making these list that these games might not coincide to the games that most excite you since they are not often a sure thing. If I were making two lists (must buys and most exciting), Borderlands would be the only game on both. I wouldn't have any sequels on the "most exciting" list because I like shiny new things!
