In Mortal Kombat II I've always been a Baraka guy. His special moves are great for tricking opponents and controlling space around you and he's got good combos.

Lei-Lei form Darkstalkers. She has the largest array of concealable weapons that I have ever seen in a fighting game. She can even throw out a Giant Bomb with a face!
if this is a MKII thread then Kung Lao... absolutely loved him in that game and has that awesome slice down the middle fatality. street fighter then Chun-Li darkstalkers then Talbain MK3 then Sindel
Lei-Fei from the Virtua Figher series is one of my favorites, but there are sooooo many great fighters out there.
