I'm sure I played others before it, but Lemmings is the first game I distinctly remember playing.

Something on the Commodore 64. Maybe Wonder Boy In Monster Land, that's the first one that really stuck with me. I can't have been more than 5 or something at the time, though.

This is mine, too - Alex Kidd in Miracle World, I think it was called. I must've been about three or four at the time. I can remember spending many afternoons trying (and failing) to complete the first level, and I also recall moving the Master System controller with my hands whenever I pressed the Jump button, as if that would somehow guide little Alex through the air.

Hot damn, that brings back some memories...

I think it was Zoombinis or something along those lines. Although I do have a really strong memory of playing Dark Castle when I was younger. My dad worked at Broderbund when I was younger so he used to bring home copies of whatever game they had just finished at the time.

Hmm. Can't remember actually. Could be Star Trek or Scramble on my brother's Vectrex, maybe Super Mario Bros. I remember playing the hell out of those games in the late 80's.

The first one I owned was Tetris on the gameboy though. :p

I've been playing Heroes since the original. Never got into Might and Magic until 7 came out.

To OP, my first game was probably Gauntlet on the Atari 800 I believe it was. Can't remember which computer it was. I was just a wee lad at the time. This was actually in the early 90's a decade or so after the computer came out. I had a bunch of old games on it but I honestly couldn't tell you the names of any of the others. First game I bought with my own money was the original Heroes of Might and Magic and also bought the original Warcraft around the same time.

Super Mario Land? It's the first game I've owned at least. I'm pretty sure I played alot on my friends NES, but the specific games elude me.

Now that I think about it, it might even be a Commander Keen game, being played at another friends' house.

#49 Posted by Yanngc33 (4461 posts) -

Pac-Man and Pokemon Blue

#50 Posted by A_Norman (44 posts) -

Either Super Mario World or Donkey Kong for original Gameboy, long time ago so I can't remember which I played first
