Your GOTY so far.

From the ones I have played consistently, I would say Mass Effect 2. However, I believe that Red Dead Redemption is the GOTY-deserving one, from what I played and saw. And believe me, I saw and read a lot about it.

Super mario galaxy 2, Kirby's epic yarn and castlevania is on my list.

a few months back I would have said Dragon Age but I stopped playing for a while and haven't gotten back in yet. Now I'm torn between Starcraft 2 and Civ 5. Yes I'm primarily a PC gamer though I also have a Wii and PS3.

Super Mario Galaxy 2.  Hands down. 
 
Metroid Other M and Halo Reach were great as well.

A toss up between the first and third acts of RDR (I really didn't care for Mexico) and Mass Effect 2 (which also had things I didn't care for) but both just grab you and don't let you go till you're done, even then you want to just right back in.

Either Mass Effect 2 or God of War 3.

I would say RDR.

Alan Wake.. 2nd choice would be ME2..

Overall I'd prolly say Mass Effect 2.  It's what I enjoyed the most overall.

Mass Effect 2 followed by Red Dead. Mass Effect 2 has actually moved up to the top of my all time favorites. 
 
I can't wait for the GotY podcast if only for some more ME 2 talk.

Definitely Mass Effect 2, although Super Mario Galaxy 2 comes close.

Civ 5 is inexplicably addictive. Even with its problems, there's no contest.

Definitely Red Dead Redemption. Which will be odd if GB awards it GOTY since it was not reviewed on the site.

ME2, RDR, or Bayonetta. I dunno. It's kind of a toss up for me.

Red Dead Redemption.

Halo: Reach most definitely.

Only one game has really pleased me this year. And that is indeed Red Dead Redemption. Not been best impressed with other game releases. Hopefully Black Ops and New Vegas can improve it some what.
 
I think it's been a  disappointing  year.

Mass Effect 2. Bayonetta is up there as well.

Mass Effect 2 is still holding strong on my list. It was just such an amazing experience. I have a stack of games I still need to play, and I have to fight the urge to start a new game in ME2 all the time.

Yeah Civ 5 for sure.

Persona 3 Portable only because Persona 3 is awesome and I haven't played Mass Effect 2 which will probably be GOTY.

Still Bayonetta.

Red Dead Redemption and Reach are the two that come to mind.

It's a close call between Mass Effect 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Starcraft II for me; I guess I really love me some sequels.

Red Dead Redemption or God of War III.
I'm sure Mass effect 2 will complicate my decision further.

Mass Effect 2 by far, it's rare that I play a game a second time within a year but I did with ME2.

Starcraft II, Mass Effect 2, or Red Dead Redemption. Of course, Fallout: New Vegas is coming out tomorrow, and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is also coming out, so it could change pretty soon.
