Your Special Mondegreen

Something you've misheard and hobbled together in your head to form something else completely. The most famous is probably Inna Godda Davida (it was originally called something like "In the Garden of Eden." The lead singer was trying to say it but was so hammered the other people in the band thought he was saying Inna Godda Davida.)

I remember hearing the saying "Cat's Pajama's" and thinking my brother said "Cat's Vagina." So we both now say the Cat's Vagina, and it is way more effective. Right now this thread is the cat's vagina, but knowing you motherfuckers it'll probably be ruined in 30 seconds. 

Also from about ages 7 - 13 I thought the saying "Put a dent in it" was "Put a dentenit." I was once told to rake the leaves, I didn't finish it but I told my father I put a dentenit in the yard and he looked at me like I was the dumbest motherfucker on the face of the Earth.

I used to think imbetween was a word?

Here in the South, there's an old saying "Get around to it".  However, there are some smartass hillbillies that took it literally, and therefore started making Round Tuits.

That crap happens all the time around here.
