Do You Think Naughty Dog Will Continue Jak?

I just had an urge to play through Jak 3 again and it would be awesome for them to continue it. Jak 2 was really good and Jak 3 is in my top games of all time. I liked the original and Daxter a lot, too. Anyway, what do you think? In an interview, Evan Wells said they'd love a chance to do Jak, and as much as Uncharted 2 will be awesome, I'd kind of want them to take a break from that franchisewith their next game. What do you think?

P.S. And I can't wait for the PSP Jak and Daxter game . . . later this year I think?

I presume he means a successor that would come to the Playstation 3. I think depending on the success of the Lost Frontier, there may or may not be a next Jak game.

I hope they don't. Keep up with the fresh IPs!

The only one going back to old ones is Insomniac. Weren't these three devs the holy trinity of platformers on the PSone and PS2?

I like their new adult games more.

Not being made by Naughty Dog. It also looks not that great, in my opinion...

If Naughty Dog made a Jak game for PS3 after Uncharted 2, the PS3 would become my favorite console of all time. Haha.

I think after Uncharted 2 sells well (it will) Naughty Dog will have enough money to devote a 2nd team to a new Jak game.

It would be foolish for them to cut off the Jak franchise. If you think about it, all they have really been working on is the Uncharted series. Well, that and helping other studios develop for the PS3. There has to be something they are hiding from us.

Look at Sucker Punch. Sly went silent for years, and then they gave us inFamous.

They said in a interview that they are a one game team. So there is going to be nothing till after uncharted 2.

The Jak and Daxter games are some of my all time favorite games. When the rumor was out that a new J&D was coming called Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier I got excited. But I was hoping it would be made by Naughty Dog and on PS3. I'll probubly cheak out the game on PSP but I really hope ND makes a new one on PS3.

Yeah totally, I thought Jak and Daxter were way better than Ratchet Clank and they fart those games out every year it seems like.

Uncharted is cool, but it just doesnt feel like it has any soul.

hmm, I don't know if I'd say they didn't have soul, but maybe you feel that way because uncharted is based MORE in the realm of reality...Jak's fantasy world allows for a unique experience, but so does uncharted...

Anyway, I'd love a J&D game on the ps3. It'd be first day, at midnight, for me! lol.

I think I'm willing to allow Uncharted to be this generation's Jak series. Naughty Dog only worked on one series with the PS2, right? And then they did the same with Crash and the PS1.

i think they are pretty busy with Uncharted but they may go back to it. The Jak games were pretty damn fun
