The big question is will Gran Turismo will ever have real time physical damage and a possible flip over or just keep the driving on rails with pretty cars approach? The difference is GT is not a true driving simulator but more of an arcade pretending to be a drive sim. In GT, I could get a way with allot of cheap tactics, rail riding and physic exploits while the car remains looking beautiful, As for Forza, I try to do that and my car is pretty much not going to last the next turn or lap. Forza is the true driving sim with alls its fustrations and rewards.

The only thing Forza 2 lacked was the incar view. Now that its here and the graphics are better than ever it looks amazing. Don't get me wrong I think GT5 will look just as good, they both have their unique perks. GT has the nascar and rally, which I personally have no desire for, but I can see why others might enjoy it. And Forza has the painting and Auction House. They both look great, I cant wait.

I randomly saw this thread while Googling for info on GT5, and I think it's pretty funny how most people go to extremes to either promote their game or bun the other.
How many devs work on Forza 3? Only 150 are working on GT5. Kazonuri is a perfectionist when it comes to his games, which is (probably) part of the reason its taking so long.
Previous GT games haven't included damage, but the new GT5 trailer shows damage in the WRC; that means possible damage in all modes. Therefore, Forza does have an adavantage over GT in terms of that.
Customization-wise, Forza has vynils. I'm not sure if it has anything else GT doesn't, like performance, tires, tuning, etc.
Graphics... Be realistic. GT5 is superior.
Both have their ups and downs. A perfect game doesn't exist.
So please, quit this fanboy argumenting. Polyphony isn't out and neither is Turn10. Both are in.

On another note, whichever is better is irrelavent, because come october this year there will be 2 fully fledged and awesome forza games against one demo. Are polyphony TRYING to make themselves look redundant?
