"This is news to you? =/They once sold my mom an empty display case for a birthday (or was it Christmas? I don't remember!) present. Unfortunately, I opened the box a few months later, after having finished some of the other games, and it was too late to return it. G'damn bastids. I refuse to give them any of my money. The fuckheads!"That's not GameStop's fault. Your mom should've noticed that the case was light and if it wasn't wrapped in it's normal casing, she should've looked inside before giving it to you. Also they have a return policy like any other store, they can't just except games that were purchased months ago. Your entire argument in flawed. You feel anger for a company when it was you and your mother's fault in the first place.

"Not only do they do that, but they accept ridiculous quality used games. I picked up a copy of Shadowrun because it was only five bucks, and the disc he pulls out literally has a crack in it. I told him "uhh, no thanks" and he responded "why? it works fine". Yeah... ok"

Yeah... ok"Ok I have to admit that the used games they sell are of low quality and in the past when it was EB Games, they used to act like the disc wasn't bad at all. They shouldn't except just any old game. I once looked for a DBZ game of the PS1 and they ended up giving the Japan only version. But they gave me my money back and contacted the guy who sold it to them."

"Like I said, we are supposed to only take used copies. The ones that do it with new games are breaking the companies rules, but the company doesnt seem to care much."I've never been told we can only take used copies, it's preferred though. I'll admit to renting some new games at my store, but like I said, if there's a used one I'll take it. It's a GameStop benefit, so don't be angry at me, just at them.

"If you buy gutted games from GameStop it's your own fault. I don't see how GameStop haters have so much experience with a store that they hate so much? Are you going in just to get ripped off? Does the feeling of getting ripped off arouse you or something?"Maybe none of us have a choice. What if somebody goes to GameStop and gets a game as a gift? Can you blame the person who received the gift? What if you don't live near any other gaming store?

"Oh boy, i'm glad that i decided all those years ago when i bought my "NEW" copy of Half Life 2 that came with no instruction manual in a non sealed container that i was done with Game Stop and all their shitty practices. I've been boycotting Game Stop for some large amount of time now, and i suggest you do the same if you despise their policies as much as i do.Thanks to Kotaku for the storyhttp://kotaku.com/5205385/gamestop-sells-played-games-as-new-sources-say-practice-could-be-illegalWhen I worked at Gamestop, any time that we "rented" a game, it was always a used copy, but i wouldn't be suprised if other stores didn't follow the guidelines."

"Oh no, my disk was put in someone else's console. I can't use it now!Who cares? We're not talking about virgins here, shit. Get a grip. "Could be damaged. Hell, when I find out my girl..fr...I can't finish that sentence with a straight face. I, like many of you on the Internet, have no girlfriend :P. You can see where I was going with the analogy, though.

"Well technically nothing Gamestop sells is new since the discs are always removed from the packaging. This is the reason I don't buy anything that's not shrink-wrapped. I would be surprised if this WASN'T happening."As I said in my post, that's no guarantee.
