Ever since I got my 'other' gaming system way back in november my first one has been pretty much collecting dust. I have been on it maybe a total of two hours in the last 5 months. Now the only reason I am still keeping the first system is because of a certain game (that will be exclusive to that particular system) thats going to come out sometime early next year. My question is, Is one game justifies me keeping that system?

I have purposefully avoided naming any particular system name because I wish to avoid fanboyism propaganda babble.

Thanks

Just keep them both. What's the point in getting rid of one?

Yeah, this.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of things to come out down the road to make you want to come back to whatever system it is.

i'd say yes, it probably is worth it. you could always trade your system in after you play the game. i'm sure it won't depreciate in value too much between now and then. and if this game is worth keeping the system around for, it must look really good, so i think it would be worth any money lost on the trade in to experience the game.

I've always had a better experience in keeping systems than getting rid of them. I still miss my 2600, NES, and Genesis occasionally. And in an age of 10-year life cycles and new dashboard updates and motion control schemes, there could be something coming up that you don't yet know about but might like.

Of course it is. That's basically why I've kept both my PS3 and Wii.

PS3 = Keep it, Blu Ray will probably take off sooner or later.
360= Keep it, you probably won't get enough for it to justify missing out on the game.

I predict it's GOW or Heavy Rain for PS3 you're talking about. But whatever.

I say keep it if you're not desperate for money.

Alternatively, you can write your dilemma on an ema and leave it at the shrine for fox.

Your predictions are...wrong.

I say keep it unless you're strapped for cash and have other priorities in your life atm, in which case it's not worth it for one game and just cash in.

PS: Good job on not naming the systems -- great way to eliminate useless arguments.
