25. BioShock

It took playing the demo to this game to knock my socks off in this ambitious shooter. The game does a tremendous job making you feel like you're in an area with some bad shit went down, and leaves you wondering from moment to moment what kinda of psychopath or trap you're going to encounter next. With many twists and turns in the story, you'll feel satisfied by the time you see the credits (or lack there-of).

24. Gears of War

I didn't immediately love this game when I first played it, but I did like it quite a bit. It wasn't until january of the following year that somes friends and I (dubbed "the crew") got together and played this game religiously, every day, for MONTHS. The magic that was those sessions will probably never be replicated again, and didn't happen with Gears of War 2 (I didn't really like Gears 2 that much, felt.. different). Had a lot of memorable multiplayer maps and moments, decent balance of weapons, and some great standoffs for even 1 on 1 battles. The campaign was good, but not why this is on my list.

23. Pac-Man Championship Edition

I've always been a fan of Pac-Man games, but I've never been particularly good at them, and I think mostly that's because of the fact you need to play the original games with HOURS worth of perfection to be ranked in the highest of the world. This game flipped that idea on its head by adding a timer, and allowed me to think up strategies in my 5 or 10 minutes of play to get the most points possible. I played this one every day for a long while after I got it, and I still play it from time to time to see if I can beat my top score. I was once ranked #50 in championship mode and #30 something in challenge mode one. I think I sit now at about #130ish on championship mode. I hope to break into the top 100 again someday.

22. Metroid Prime

I didn't think Nintendo could capture the essence that is Metroid in a first person 3d game, but boy was I ever wrong. This game had atmosphere and expert design in spades. I loved thuroughly exploring the world in this game, listening to all the outstanding music and finding as many secrets as possible. I never did beat this game all the way through, but I got very close (had trouble finding a couple of the artifacts--although I didn't try terribly hard--just one of those things that happen). I played the other Metroid Prime games, but none of them quite impressed me like this one. I want to finish this one of these days.

21. Jet Set Radio Future

There's something about this game that makes me want to pop it in, relax, and enjoy myself. Perhaps it's the great soundtrack, the ease of grinding all over the world, the variety of levels, or maybe I'm just crazy. Either way, when I heard the 360 was backwards compatible with this game, I ran out and picked it up sadly for like 3 dollars. It's a shame more people don't appreciate this game, or haven't heard of it or played it. If you like having fun and doing a bunch of crazy tricks, you should probably check this game out.

Just when you mentioned Metroid Prime, I felt like owning a Game Cube.

Maybe I should go back to Metroid Prime since I have found a new appreciation for FPS's...Didn't really enjoy it the first time around.

I love JSRF. It needs a sequel, now.

I actually enjoyed Gears 2 much more than the first. Bioshock is a given, that game is just incredible.

So would you kindly post the next section of your list?
