Natal Can't See Colored People WTF

Proof

I'm offended by this shit.  I saved up 30000円 to buy an Xbox 360 Elite this weekend and I saw this.  If you're colored like me, Natal can't read your image.  This explains why only white people were shown in the demos and videos of Natal.

This is a load of shit, and I wanted everyone to know it's messed up.  Way to totally screw this up MS.  I won't be buying the Elite this week but rather use it to save up for a new MacBook Pro.

If you're spanish/black/etc...or Arab like me, you're shit out of luck with using Natal.

If you saved up 3000 dollars (or whatever it is, I don't know yen conversions) over the course of one weekend, I think you need to write a book or something. 

Also, Natal will be coming out at the end of 2010 by all accounts. If they don't figure out how to let caramel-colored gamers play on it by then, they're in trouble. Cool down Kaos.

Also, way to stick it to Microsoft by buying an Apple product!!!  That makes this thread even fucking better!!!

Obviously it won't ship with that fault? People are acting like Microsoft did this because they're racist or something. Companies aren't racist. Just an oversight. They consider you all so normal they forgot your skin color is different and can screw with their sensors. That's all. Relax.

Maybe they'll bundle it with a special gaming outfit to accomodate everyone?

The yen rate is easy, just use 1cent=10円 that gives you a idea of the cost but look online for the rate since it is ever changing. So 30000円 is only 308.61$ (the rate RIGHT now)

Pretty sure 30000 yen (if he is talking Japanese money), only equates to like 300 US dollars. Which, I don't think is enough for a MacBook Pro. Unless he has more money, or my conversion is off. Probably the latter.

This is not actually that uncommon or unknown.
If you've ever taken a lecture where the presenter uses one of the newer automated, you've seen that they automagically adjust for focus, color, tint, et al.

 When a black person or someone with black shirt sleeves moves papers around on the projector scanning surface, it whites out the screen, the computer can't compensate for the black. Its really fucking annoying.
