Probably one of the more overrated bands of the 90's,but they wrote some damn good music imo.I picked up the live at reading cd/dvd this week which is pretty incredible.

They wrote one good album, Incesticide. Other than that, Kurt Cobain was a goddamn tool. The best thing about Nirvana is Foo Fighters.

False. The best thing about Nirvana is Dave Grohl, because Dave Grohl not only lead to the Foo Fighters but also Songs For The Deaf and Them Crooked Vultures.

Nirvana was a good band, the only problem is that a bunch of shitty musicians tried to copy what they did, and the result were horrible. For example, Puddle of Mud.

They were a great band and have many great songs. Nevertheless they are widely overrated due to Cobain's death. I'd like to call it The Dark Knight Syndrome, but Nirvana was ahead of its time lol.
