PSP Invalid activation

My co-worker wanted to copy his PSN copy of Def Jam NY from his console onto my PSP so we could play against each other. When he tries to do it we get this message: "The connected PSP system is activated with a different account, If you perform this operation, the current activaton will become invalid. Would you like to continue? We think that it might reassign his copy to my account, then he could not play it. Is this the case?

No, it changes your PSP's activation to his account, he would still be able to play it.
You wouldn't be able to play the games you've gotten from your account and onto the PSP tho'.
At least that's what's mine is doing when I messed around with it
